I have a hardworking grandmother who just never stops and I want to get her a good gift for Mothers Day (14 May here). She's not the type to take enough time for herself and is a bit unmotivated when it comes to self care in general (she cares for her disabled husband). I think she feels she should never come first. If I asked her what she wanted, she'd insist I don't buy her anything. Does anyone have suggestions? I need a square gift box that's 12x12 or a little bit larger - for my friend's birthday, I'm giving her a vinyl record amongst many other things and I want to put it all in a nice gift box for her to open. Problem is, the only stuff I can find are wholesale sites that sell them in like 100 packs for hundreds of dollars. So my boyfriend and I are currently in a long distance relationship, and his birthday is coming up! In addition to a personalized gift, I'm making him a jar that will be filled with little phrases and lyrics and things I love about him on heart shaped pieces of paper. What I need help with is what to write on the outside. Most of these jars I've seen have a key (different paper is a different thing, like pink is lyrics, yellow is date ideas) and that's not what I'm doing.
