Help - elderly gran's birthday
So, my Gran used to be easy to buy for, she loved crafting, reading, going out for lunch, travelling, gardening etc etc. She now has dementia and its suddenly really hard to get her a gift. She can't craft any more and she doesn't read, she doesn't leave the house and she gets a bit stressed with a gift she feels she needs to 'use' and will try to give it back to you - so like if I got her a book and she doesn't feel up to reading she'll get upset about it.Last year I got her a selection of bird feeders and a stand for them, and bird food, which I put up outside her sitting room window. She cried because she loved it so much, she can't go far but it bought her something to watch and she didn't have to 'do' anything with it so there was no stress.Has anyone got any similar thoughts?? I am totally stumped. I love her so much and I visit every week and really want to gift her something she'll like. Thanks in advance! via /r/Gifts http://ift.tt/2k5iq29
