#gifts - #Meeting boyfriend’s parents for the first time. What should I get them as a gift?

His parents at divorced so this would be two separate gifts. I just to give the right first impression. My boyfriend has already talked me up so much that I don’t want to be a let down. I know personality wise I’ll be okay but I don’t want to just show up and not seem like I didn’t think about them personally. Also the dad is getting married soon and just moved into a new house. I’m meeting him during his housewarming/pre-wedding party. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9hbmqs/meeting_boyfriends_parents_for_the_first_time/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Pracitcal gift needed for girlfriends elderly grandfather

Recently moved into her parents place and want to get her grandfather a nice practical gift and not sure what to get. He is 70+ uses a walker to get around and is only out in the house till about noon and then relaxes in his room the rest of the day. He is also very hard of hearing so it's a challenge to talk with him even to see how his day is going, so I know really nothing about him other than his military time. Please share any ideas you may have. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9haaeq/pracitcal_gift_needed_for_girlfriends_elderly/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Looking for a family friendly gift to celebrate an adoption

I'm planning to go to an adoption party in a few weeks and have absolutely no idea what to bring. The little guy is almost three and is definitely spoiled already! Since it's a family event I'd like to give something they can all use. The family looks after a lot of kids as well so there's no shortage of toys in their house. My best idea to include everyone was a Frozen themed gift basket with toys and wine, but obviously those things aren't likely to be found together. It's not like a birthday party where you have an idea of what theme of gift to bring, so I don't even know where to start looking. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9h9y54/looking_for_a_family_friendly_gift_to_celebrate/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Complex/long-lasting gift

Can you help me with finding the gift that the person can "explore" for a long time? It should be something you can go more and more in depth and maybe get better at that. The person it is for (me) plays at violin so I am maybe thinking about some other instrument. The main problem with that is that I don't really have time for it. I am gladly welcome any ideas. My budget is 150€/$. Max 200€/$. Thanks. This B-day gift should be from my mum but I want to be one co-deciding. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9h83y9/complexlonglasting_gift/?utm_source=ifttt
