#gifts - #What to get boyfriend I just stated dating? I only have 5 days left

He's 25. We've only been dating a month and I have no idea what to get him. I asked him what he wanted and he said he wants it to be a surprise. I was thinking dinner & night in/out, but he's throwing a party and he said he wanted an actual gift (like tangible), which is annoying. I've never been good at buying gifts and usually people just tell me what they want but he's being difficult. Ideas? Here's some things i know he does or he's into:drinking smoking drawing (not as much anymore) rock climbing cars (sort of) all tv/movies (mostly comedies) some gaming (xbox one) the color orange the beach music (mainly rap) seafood via /r/Gifts http://ift.tt/2tFa9YY

#gifts - #Two bookstore coworkers leaving

One of them is leaving for a better job but its really sad to go. She's always really sweet and remembers everyone's birthdays, has given me a mug and a t-shirt.The other has only been at the store a year but I look to her as a mentor. She's moving back to her old town because her husband isn't happy in our area, but she doesn't want to go. via /r/Gifts http://ift.tt/2u9dX5D

#gifts - #Help giving gift to parents

Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this question but it is gift related. My parents are turning 50 this year and their birthdays are about 2 weeks apart. Mum in August and dad in September. They also have their 25th wedding anniversary coming up. So my sister and I got them tickets to a comedy show and a hotel room as a gift. However I have no idea how best to give this gift since it's a joint gift.Any advice? I was playing with the idea of giving my mum the hotel reservation on her birthday then my dad the tickets like a slow reveal. I just don't want it to feel like my dad got nothing on his birthday after giving them the joint present on my mums or vice versa.Hopefully it makes sense what I'm trying to say. Hoping someone who has had a similar problem knows how to help via /r/Gifts http://ift.tt/2v6Gy8A
