#gifts - #I tricked my wife into doing the In My Feelings Challenge and made a romantic video out of it. She was so furious the first 10 seconds then cried in my arms. Best gift idea ever! And it’s pretty easy if you have any video maker.
#gifts - #Need help finding gift for boyfriend who historically does not like gifts
So my boyfriend (unofficially) doesn't like his birthday and doesn't like getting gifts. He's told me that people usually fail to get him gifts that he would actually like and has given me many examples of gifts he has received in the past that he didn't like, often because the buyer had more selfish motivations for the gift, such as flashing wealth. He was very insistent that I don't get him anything for his birthday and I was pushing for him to let me at least try to get him something that he actually wants and we eventually came to a compromise of a "trial gift". If I can get him a small gift that he really likes then I can have the privilege of getting him a birthday gift. There's a little bit of pressure on this trial gift, so I want to make sure I get him something really good.So here's a little about him and his interests:He's a cinephile. Absolutely loves movies. He also likes shows like Brooklyn 99, Suits, How I Met Your MotherHe's a little posh and into high society things, like suits (I can't afford to buy him a suit, but maybe things that typically accompany suits?)--the opposite side of this is that he doesn't like things that are cheap or tacky and this includes any novelty items or clothing. He's a bit of a gamer, I know he's into World of Warcraft, Idle Heroes, and Magic: The Gathering, all of which I know nothing about. He's into martial arts like Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu JitsuHe's a bit of a drinker, he likes whiskey. He's a big reader and he's into stuff like Norse Mythology. He told me that his favorite series is the Cherub series (he's English and I'm American but apparently this was a really popular series of novels for kids in England? I'm guessing kind of like a Percy Jackson equivalent)Any help or suggestions would be amazing. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/918zsa/need_help_finding_gift_for_boyfriend_who/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Gifts for a Longterm Boyfriend
I know what he likes, but what I need is a fresh perspective. I'm hoping people out there know of some things that I've never heard of before. I like to get him unique presents, sadly as I work more I just don't have the same amount of time I usually have to present hunt. I already have a few ideas lined up but need some extra bits!He likes:Tottenham Hotspur the English football team.Dragon Ball ZGaming. Xbox One, PS4, 3DS, Switch, GBA. Roughly in that order.Podcasts.BoJack Horseman and Rick and Morty are his favourite cartoons.he loves Batman.Led Zeppelin, Cat Stevens, John Frusicante, Pete Doherty.guitar. (electric, aucoustic)He dislikes:the 'gamer' look, so graphic tees, bright colourful merch, etc. He likes to be a lot more subtle and have his merch blend in with everyday outfits.collectibles and such. He doesn't really go in for Pop! Vinyls or anything like them. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9173b4/gifts_for_a_longterm_boyfriend/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gifts for SO roommates
Myself, my SO, and his roommates are all college students and we will all be moving back to our college town in the next month to our respective apartments. I’ve met his roommates and have been getting to know them better in the last four months that my SO and I have been together.I throughly enjoy giving gifts to people as a way to show my appreciation and to start things off this year I wanted to get something for the guys as a “I appreciate the new friendships / thank you for being cool with me around” type of gift.I was thinking on the day that the guys move in to buy pizza and beer and possibly make a baked good for them all, but I wanted to do a little something more as well, just not sure what exactly. As I mentioned before, I enjoy giving gifts to people so if there are any other suggestions on some gifts or gestures a girlfriend of a roommate could give / do I’d be so thankful!Thank you so much! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/914mbm/gifts_for_so_roommates/?utm_source=ifttt
