#gifts - #Personalized gift for boyfriend

My boyfriend is a jazz musician. I would like to get him something inspired by the song “Funny Valentine” for valentine’s day, specifically something with the lyric “you make me smile with my heart”. I have no idea what to put this on. I don’t think it would fit on a keychain or anything small like that and K have no idea what he would want. I would like to keep the cost under $25 if possible. Thanks in advance for the suggestions! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7tv7q4/personalized_gift_for_boyfriend/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift ideas for a book-loving girlfriend?

Hey all,My initial idea is to bring her to several large libraries in Paris, tell her to get any 3-5 books that she likes and let her loose. But even though she would like it, I feel like it's not putting enough energy into it, do you have propositions? Or do you think it's a good idea? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7trxv2/gift_ideas_for_a_bookloving_girlfriend/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift ideas for job references

Hello all!My boyfriend and I used to do a lot of volunteer work with two people from the same organization in college. We both applied for temporary jobs out of college and they were great references for us. We have returned home temporarily and they both have been super supportive and have been references for us again as we apply for more jobs. We are going to see them this week for the first time in several months and will be working with them for a few days. They have both been so wonderful to us and have really been instrumental in helping us both attain our career goals. I would like to give them each a small gift. I was thinking I would make each of them a card using some pictures from our last job and our travels but I would also like to get them something else. Her: mid-60s, botanist, spends all of her time outdoors but also very stylish. My best friend's mother makes driftwood and seashell hair clips so I was thinking I would give her one of those.Him: 40s, works outside, plays in a band, has lot's of pets (dogs, cats, chickens), also works with wildland fire (mostly prescribed burns). Here's where I'm drawing a blank. Any suggestions? Longleaf Pines are a major focus of his work so maybe something I can work with that?As far as budget, I'd probably like to keep it around $30 or less, since that is about how much the hair clip would cost and I would like to keep them in the same price range. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7tkwnx/gift_ideas_for_job_references/?utm_source=ifttt
