Hey all, I'm really in need of some help here. I need to get something for my boyfriend's parents for Christmas. He and I have been together for about a year and I've seen his parents many times since I met them earlier this year. I just have no clue what I can get for them that comes across as thoughtful, and boyfriend is no help (he and his siblings are a last-minute bunch when it comes to presents, so he barely has ideas for what he's giving them). The only thing he offered was that they would appreciate something that is "uniquely me"...which would mean hand-making something, which I don't have the time for at this point.I was thinking some sort of gift basket type thing that could be for both of them...since I don't know them well enough to play off their interests. I need help!! Usually I am really good at gifting but this year I'm stumped. My husband's birthday is a few days after Christmas. He is an amazing husband and father and I want to give him something as great as he is. He is such a giving and appreciative person, I know he would be happy with a bag of sand or nothing at all. Plus, he always gives me great gifts and I'm sick of him out gifting me. He is a new father, our son is 7 months old, and loves being a dad. He is a nurse in an ER and a flight medic in the Air Guard. He will be going to Antarctica in January for 6 weeks with the air guard. He loves cycling, coffee, and his family. We used to go out to dinner quite a bit, but that hasn't happened a lot since having our baby. He doesnt need any more coffee mugs or travel mugs. I don't think he need anything for his bike or cycling kits. Got one of cousins I know the least about for secret Santa this year. He's mid twenties (a little older than me), graduated college with some computer degree, still taking some classes I think..
