#gifts - #I (24M) wanted to gift something special to a social worker (30~35F) who has helped me tremendously during the last two years but I have no idea what would be appropiate.

Hi everyone, I want to gift her something to show her how thankfull I am for everything she has done for me in these last two years. She has helped me with getting help for my depression, has been there when I needed to talk and now, helped me tremendously in getting ready to move out of a very disfunctional house (BPD, depressed, hoarder mother).I have no words and can't even begin to imagine how to thank her for everything she has done for me.I want to gift her something, but I worry what would be appropiate and what not. Someone has told me to write her a letter expressing how thankful I am for helping me, I thought about a coffe gift card, or a coffe mug or maybe chocolate, because who doesn't like chocolate. Thing is, I don't want to make it uncomfortable by giving a gift that a romantic partner would gift her, just something special as way to say thank you.I would appreciate any ideas or advice on what to do. And a very special thank you to all social workers there reading this post. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/hvgjsu/i_24m_wanted_to_gift_something_special_to_a/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Girlfriends birthday is coming up and no idea what to get her!

We have been dating for over three years and have got her a wide range of gifts. Purses, jewelry, bags, wallets, clothes jackets etc I have also taken her on a trip every year for her birthday Vegas, Disney, etc.We recently moved in together and our apartment and lives feel set. There really isn’t anything she “needs” from electronics to clothes to other things we have always done a great job of budgeting and making sure etcI was planning a trip but it is not possible now with the current pandemicI have crafted a lot of personal things and cute gifts before as well. Feel like I’m running out of ideas! Any links, services etc are appreciated! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/hvg9f3/girlfriends_birthday_is_coming_up_and_no_idea/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Coworker is in the hospital after a bad motorcycle accident. Looking to build a true comfort care basket.

Basically as the title says. I’m a girl, so I’m trying to cover items that I might not think of since he’s a dude. He’s gonna be there a while, as the accident was pretty bad, so my goal is to help keep him comfortable with things that people might not otherwise consider. Trying to keep items either relatively inexpensive (<$20) or at a point where two people could go in on it.Here’s what I got so far:Twin XL fuzzy blanket Warm, soft socks Full coverage eye mask Nice toilet paper and "dude wipes" Image projector for his phone (movies on the ceiling) Grubhub gift card Noise cancelling headphones?Other notes: He doesn't really have use of either of his hands. I've been trying to come up with something to entertain him. Also, he has some pretty bad road rash, but idk if there’s anything we can offer to help with that that the hospital won’t do better with. Thanks! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/hvcvcl/coworker_is_in_the_hospital_after_a_bad/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Need gift suggestion M giving a gift to a F/26 friend.

Was thinking of a Bellroy key cover as she likes to be highly organised. Afraid it won't hold up well. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/hv8zug/need_gift_suggestion_m_giving_a_gift_to_a_f26/?utm_source=ifttt
