My girlfriend (F21) and I (F23) are celebrating our 3 year anniversary next Friday. I know she's probably on Reddit looking for ideas too, so I made a throwaway since she knows my main handle. This year, I'd like to get her something unique yet practical. Sentimental things are nice, but they just collect dust on our shelves.​She's really into the outdoors (backpacking, fishing, kayaking, gardening, the mountains), R&B music, good food, and anything adventuring/exploring related. She has an active job and doesn't wear make-up, so jewelry or cosmetics won't do. A week after our anniversary I'm leaving for a month-long work trip... maybe there's something there? Hi! For my mom's birthday I want to get her a special apron, but I'm having trouble figuring out a way to make it happen. I want to have an apron made with a small photo of our family dog popping out of a pocket with the words "Big Helper" written over his head. I think a cartoon or Disney-fied drawing of our dog would be best. I am okay getting the gift made in parts and combining it together myself (such as finding someone to do the drawing, someone to put it on material that I can iron on or sew onto an apron, and finding the apron myself). I just don't know where to start with this.
