#gifts - #Looking for a specific kind of blanket as a gift for my wife

My wife has this blanket that basically doubles as her pillow since she tucks part of it under her head when she sleeps.Unfortunately it's pretty old and starting to not be that comfortable, so I want to get her a new one.I need like a thick plush blanket. It can't have velvet (she hates it) or real fur and it can't be bumpy since she sleeps on it. Any suggestions? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9nghmf/looking_for_a_specific_kind_of_blanket_as_a_gift/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #one year anniversary gift for boyfriend (26)

My boyfriend and I are planning an extended weekend trip to a theme park and local city as a vacation and I'm planning on getting him a belated anniversary gift. For his birthday I got him Oregon Trail (2 player version) and he liked that but we've never gotten to play it. We both work full time so we haven't gone many places together, but we've taken day trips hiking/walking and traveling to different towns to try restaurants. His main interests include painting miniatures for 40K Warhammer, Soccer/running, chess, and watching reviews of movies (red letter media). I thought about getting him a chess set since he doesn't own one but that seems boring and he didn't seem too interested since he doesn't have anyone to play with in person. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9ng0jd/one_year_anniversary_gift_for_boyfriend_26/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Looking for gift ideas for my disabled, out of state mom

I know it’s cutting it a little close, but my mom’s birthday is 10/16, and I have no clue what to give her. She’s going to be 56, she’s disabled (walks with a cane and has mobility issues due to full spinal fusion, both hips replaced, and currently awaiting a knee replacement), and she lives 1200 miles away from me.She’s also currently fighting to get disability pay from her state, and so is out of work and will soon be moving in with a friend because she can’t afford to live by herself. I mention this because she is currently in the process of getting rid of a TON of material possessions, since she can’t afford to put them in storage and won’t have room at her friend’s apartment.Normally in a situation like this, I would think an experience would be more valuable than something material, but living so far away doesn’t really give me that option. I’m not in a financial position to be able to pay for something big like a storage unit or anything like that, but I don’t think getting her something like jewelry would be appropriate at this point in her life. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, and if you need more information, just ask.Oh, and I also have amazon prime. So bonus points for good prime-eligible suggestions. #gifts - #Gift ideas for my girlfriend

I love my girlfriend but I really don't know what to give her for her upcoming 26th birthday in November. I feel like she already has everything she wants. I'll try to tell you more about her:She loves to travel. We are going to visit London together during her birthday. (We have paid together for this trip). Maybe I could could give her something London related? Visit some cool place over there? Any ideas? (I was also thinking some other trip in December/January but she'll be having exams at school.)She likes bag-packs but she already has plenty. She loves good food and I'm taking her for dinner for her birthday for sure. She likes dancing but she is already subscribed for her dancing lessons and she has all the accessories she need. She was also thinking about getting her first tattoo but I'm not sure if that would be a good idea. Last year I bought her Instax camera. My budget is €200 top. Thank you for any ideas! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9n9k5c/gift_ideas_for_my_girlfriend/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift for 4 year old son I haven’t seen in months

I was home with my son from the moment he was born till he was about 3 years old. We spent every day together, went everywhere together, we walked to the park every day or took the bus down town for special outings. Dad was working and rarely around, so me and him were really really close. This past year has been hard for him, his baby brother was born and I went to school and started working, I’ve been away from home now for 3 months. One of the last conversations we had he was in tears telling me nobody loved him anymore, he thinks we only love baby brother, and mommy is never home and he misses me. My heart is breaking for him and I miss him so much. I’m giving up this career at least until my boys are older because I can’t stand the time apart. Luckily, I’m coming home soon and it’s also going to be his birthday. He has a lot of toys, but I want to give him something really extraordinarily special- he’s such a good little guy and he’s been so sweet and well behaved in my absence, he deserves something really special but I just can’t think of anything. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9n9ocn/gift_for_4_year_old_son_i_havent_seen_in_months/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #I need a gift idea for a younger brother

He is a kid who likes to do puzzles and told me he is interested in doing photography. We usually don’t go to the wild, (only sometimes) but we do go to urban areas pretty often. Preferably something that’s actually gonna be useful to him and not something like videogames. He is interested in art and draws pretty often bu he already has sketching pencils and a sketchbook. I was thinking of maybe a power bank for himself because he usually goes around playing sport and his phone may die sometimes. I’m not sure what to get him and I thank you if you give me any ideasEdit: fixed spelling via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9n7fta/i_need_a_gift_idea_for_a_younger_brother/?utm_source=ifttt
