#gifts - #Father's 60th
I could use some help with ideas for my dad's upcoming 60th birthday. He's always been very hard to shop for, so I suggested he start an Amazon wish list. He put two CDs on there, so I've got one of them, but I feel like that's not enough for this milestone birthday! He used to camp and hike, he plays guitar some, and he is Christian and enjoys Bible related things. I feel like I've exhausted all of those interests in past birthdays.I think he likes audiobooks now, so I was thinking about getting him a subscription to Audible, but again... Is that not special enough for his 60th?I've been looking up the meaning of his name and inspirational quotes/verses, because I might be able to turn it into a nice watercolor painting for him. I'm pretty crafty, but he doesn't wear any jewelry and doesn't generally need/want 'stuff'.I feel like I'm going in circles... Thank you so much for any ideas!! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/942gs7/fathers_60th/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Gift for Dad's 61st Birthday?
Looking for advice on a gift for my Dad.He's notoriously difficult to shop for and honestly, probably wouldn't be bothered if I didn't get him anything (but I would be).He loves his Traeger smoker, but I think we've bought him just about everything we can think of related to it.He likes to go trap shooting, but again, we've kind of tapped that tree dry.He likes fishing, but is pretty particular about what he wants, so we don't generally do anything related unless he asks for it.He love camping (glamping) in their trailer in Huntington Beach, CA a few times a year. And we just returned from an amazing Cruise where he and my Mom took all us kids (we're all adults) with them all around Alaska (something they'd wanted to do for 15 years or so).Budget would be up to $150 or so, but open to ideas anywhere in there (including free ideas). A lot of people seem to suggest just writing something heartfelt, which is nice, but even for that, I'd love to do it in a unique way if you have any ideas. Thanks in advance! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/941sfk/gift_for_dads_61st_birthday/?utm_source=ifttt
