Hey all,So I have found myself in a weird predicament that I had never thought about. My step father was recently diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer. The doctors are saying he's probably not going to make it more than 6 months, and more realistically closer to 3 months (from now, his diagnosis came earlier this morning). Christmas is fast approaching, and I have no idea what a dying person would want. He's always been a practical person, but from now on, he'll be pretty much confined to his recliner/bed. Maybe a nice pillow or cushion? But they recently got a new bed with nice new pillows. My mom is planning on getting an electric recliner for him, so I would assume that it would be pretty comfortable.I don't have a whole lot to spend either, I'm a broke college kid. I do have access to tools and have a decent mount of knowledge about carpentry, but I can't really think of anything right now (probably because of the emotions). As per the rule, some things he likes; the Cleveland Browns (thought about tickets, but I highly doubt he would be able to travel at all), he likes tools (but can't really do anything on his own any more). He's been a hobby wine maker for a long time, have he and my mother stopped a couple months ago when his health started deteriorating. Thanks, and sorry in advanced if this isn't the right sub. Any advice would be very much appreciated. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a3reyv/christmas_gift_for_a_dying_step_father/?utm_source=ifttt
