#gifts - #Gift suggestions for 22 y/o male gamer/poker/chess fanatic

Xmas will be around the corner soon and I want to get my bf something nice. I don't know if it matters but we've been dating for almost 4 months now. My budget is probably $100-$150 max; definitely don't need to go up that high but want to try to at least spend $50.Some stuff about him:He's a PC gamer, loves League of Legends especially.Loves chess. He's always playing online and solving puzzles, and loves to follow tournaments, world chess championship, etc.He loves poker (he has a set but it's back at home with his parents)He likes legos and always wanted a set, but this is more of a one shot buy and not practical as in the end it's just decor and he moves around a lot.He just built his new PC.. (if there's anything I can get for that)Some ideas I have in mind:Get him a nice chess set since he doesn't have one. He tends to move around a lot though so I don't know if that's practical.A star wars lego set. Same reasoning as above. Also don't know if he would have anywhere to put it after finishing building it.League of Legends related gift..I'm open to listen to any random ideas you guys have :) Thank you. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9wlake/gift_suggestions_for_22_yo_male_gamerpokerchess/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gifts Suggestions

Hello!I’ve been given the most of a few items my girlfriend wants for Christmas.1) A really good hair straightener2) A music player (that can access Spotify) for running.3) A new luggage set.I feel fairly confident I can pick up a luggage set at Marshall’s or a similar store. The other two items I have a few concerns for. My girlfriend used an iPhone 8+ so I imagine having an Apple Watch May be a good idea? Unless there are other options. I’m hoping to spend 300 or less on this but I don’t know the options.I have honestly no knowledge of hair straighteners but am willing to go up to $150.Any suggestions? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9wk95o/gifts_suggestions/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Looking for gifts for Nana (redditors from outside the US, I could use your help!)

Hello! My Nana is in her seventies, but fairly active and very smart. She's planning on moving soon, and she already has a lot of knick knacks and things like that. She's a very special woman and from a big family who get her lots of gifts. She loves to learn about other cultures and is a very worldly person. I was hoping some redditors from outside the US (or knowledgeable redditors) could suggest some good traditional gifts, or websites where I could find something. I've tried searching the internet but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I would be grateful to anyone with any input!Something artistic would also suit her. She collects Christmas ornaments from her travels, and also has a thing for birds and her garden. She regularly volunteers for charity and her church. Overall the best person in the world. The budget is not important! Any information you have would be awesome. Thank you!!! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9wijnt/looking_for_gifts_for_nana_redditors_from_outside/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift for Sister & Brother-In-Law.... ~$400

The adults in my family usually spend about $50 on each other each year, it seems to be the unspoken agreement. However, a couple of years ago, my sister and her husband were both gainfully employed with low cost of living. At the same time, my wife and I were struggling. That year, they knew that I would want and enjoy the Playstation 4 but that our financial situation would never allow for it, so that was my gift from them. It was really overwhelming. And the fact that they bought an extravagance made it feel not like it was demeaning for them to buy it for me while we were struggling financially. This year, the tables have turned a bit. We are through with grad school and both making pretty decent salaries, while my sister has been laid off and they have another kid. I would like to do something similar. Spend something in the $300-500 range for the two of them that represents some sort of entertainment or enjoyment they probably wouldn't feel the freedom to have, given their current situation. However, I really cannot come up with good ideas for this and was hoping reddit could help. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9we0t6/gift_for_sister_brotherinlaw_400/?utm_source=ifttt
