I'm taking a vacation at his small town where I need a car to go to the nearest shop/grocery to buy him a gift or surprise banner.These are my current hurdles;The only way for me to go to a store is with him because he is the only person I know who understands English.He knows that I don't have any local currency money. My mother has been getting really into interior design the past few years, taken a bunch of courses and excelled in all of them. She's also done a few jobs professionally now. She lately started a new course at the local University of Arts which, unlike the other courses she's taken, actually requires learning how to draw (not digitally).She feels she cannot draw at all and is really self-conscious about it. Her birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I was thinking of getting her a good book on interior design / architectural drawing.The problem is I bet she's already ordered literally everything off Amazon... She's got a bit of a shopping problem and will use any excuse to spend money. So as soon as any kind of need arises, she'll overcompensate by buying all the things.Anybody know of anything non-obvious I could get her that could help her learn to draw? Or any tools she might need working as an interior designer?Her day job is being a CFO, if it matters.
