#gifts - #Scrapbook style gift for boyfriend...

Hey guys, I need some help, or advice, or any input y'all are willing to offer. He recently started writing letters to me in this cheesy old fashion way with a fountain pen and everything, and mails them to my parents house. Upon the third letter he requested I write back and since I'm not very good with words, I kept the letter brief and included a doodle of the moment we met.Since then I've started doodling the key moments in our relationship and keeping them logged in a sketch book, each one dated and in order. He doesn't know about any of the other pages except the original one I had sent with the letter.Anyways, our anniversary is coming up and I have been really toying with the idea of combining all the pages into a scrapbook/album and giving it to him.My plan was to prepare the whole thing on black cardstock in a wire bound booklet and put everything in order while scattering a few other random doodles of him, running jokes, ideas, and things of the like throughout.... I'd leave the front page empty until last minute and then temporarily steal the page he already has to put it in before giving it to him. (He placed it with the letter on his bookshelf with his favorite authors so it wouldn't be hard to snag without him noticing)My question to you all, is that I'm not sure if it's going to be too much of a girly gift. Every gift I've given him before has been things he needs but can't find on his own or things he's mentioned he wanted and never got around to shopping for. This would definitely be a way more personal gift but I'm not sure if it will be too much.Any input helps. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7pkc6s/scrapbook_style_gift_for_boyfriend/?utm_source=ifttt
