#gifts - #Weird candy that can be ordered
I'm looking for a gift for a girl I've been seeing recently that is an interesting or weird candy that can be ordered online. She likes Japanese food and is a big fan of strange food in general via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/92oel3/weird_candy_that_can_be_ordered/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Gift suggestion for couple who stopped at the scene of my late fiance's accident to help
I recently lost my fiance in a traumatic car accident. This past week, I met the man who was the first person to stop at the scene of the accident. Meeting him was completely by chance and I am still shocked that it happened. He and his wife own a local shop and restaurant. The shop sells homemade jams/chutneys and little gifts. His wife talked to me the other day for three hours. She listened to me cry and sat with me for a long time. Their mom brought us coffee with little sugar cookies. It was one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me - total strangers taking time to talk to me like this.I am grateful that he stopped and tried to help in the only way he could. He called the ambulance, he checked on my fiance but there was nothing he could do. He directed traffic away from my fiance's vehicle.I would like some gift suggestions. Since they are in the restaurant business, I would have no idea what to get them because I would normally maybe give them some sort of dessert, but that doesn't seem appropriate since they own a restaurant that sells desserts. I want to write a handwritten card to them and maybe give them some flowers? But I'm just not sure. I also don't know them well enough to know their tastes. I just want to give them a small token of thanks and plan on writing a heartfelt note. I just want them to know how much it means to me.Thank you for your suggestions. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/92kq8x/gift_suggestion_for_couple_who_stopped_at_the/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #I'll be shifting to a new apartment shortly, and I want to make friends there quickly.
I need ideas for this.Would a letter introducing myself along with a small gift be a good idea? Letter + a gift voucher (like amazon vouchers)? Or letter + some sweets?I am into fitness consultancy and also pain management. I can give some gift vouchers for my services. Will that be a good idea or too cheesy / salesy? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/92kc1l/ill_be_shifting_to_a_new_apartment_shortly_and_i/?utm_source=ifttt
