#gifts - #What’s something special I can do for my girlfriend?

I (M, 23) have been in the hospital these last two days recovering from surgery and will continue to do be recovering for awhile once I’m set home. My girlfriend (F, 22) has been taking amazing care of me and will continue to do so once I’m out of the hospital. We have been together for about three years and live together. I’m not the best showing my appreciation and wanted to do something nice for her. Nothing big and fancy, just something to show her that I love her and appreciate all she does for me. It could be a small gift, little date night, whatever it may be, I want to show my appreciation. Any helpful tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/b4fovd/whats_something_special_i_can_do_for_my_girlfriend/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Need input on when should I give my boyfriend his birthday present?

My boyfriend and I are on a long distance relationship. However, we are currently living together in the same city while I am out here for work. It is unclear how long we’ll be in the same city for. So, my boyfriend’s birthday is on April 25, but I already got him a present: three board games, two of which are for two players max. My intention was that we could make those two 2-player games “our” games and learn how to play them together. Since I don’t know how long I’ll be out here for before I go back to my permanent home, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to give him his present early. Giving him an early present would give us more time to actually enjoy the games together. There’s a chance I might leave in early May, and that would give us two weeks tops to play together. What do you guys think? Would you just wait till April 25, or give him an early present? How early would you guys give him the present (it’s March 22 today)? Also, if I give him his present early, am I expected to give him something else on his actual birthday?Thank you for your input! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/b4by6b/need_input_on_when_should_i_give_my_boyfriend_his/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #I make handmade music boxes for anniversary gifts that can play almost any song!

Hi there,I'm Giovanni, a composer and music box maker from Vermont!I make custom handmade music boxes for wedding and anniversary gifts. I make the music boxes out of walnut with a natural beeswax finish, and can make it play almost any song.As a fellow composer, I always get permission from the original songwriters and owners before making a music box version, and a lot of the income goes back to supporting artists.I just started making a heart shaped music box on Etsy:https://www.etsy.com/listing/692299775/custom-music-box-with-custom-song-heartI also uploaded an audio recording to iTunes:https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/perfect-single/1440254214?uo=4Let me know what you think!
