Hello,I have a friend who is having a very hard time, and I want to send her a care package or something to make her feel loved.Her husband is away because what was supposed to be a two week work trip had to be extended to five weeks. She gets severe anxiety being on her own for an extended period of time. They just moved to a new city, so she doesn't know anyone out there.I'm having a hard time coming up with what to send her. She has a chronic stomach issue where there are a lot of things that she can't eat, so I can't send her a bunch of her favorite snacks. Her diet is really specific and I don't know exactly what she can and can't eat, so I feel I should steer clear of edibles. She is really not into self-pampering things such as skincare, taking baths, etc. and I know that's not something she would use or enjoy. As high school students, my classmates and I have planned a week full of competitions. They are: costume competition, crime scene investigation, creative writing, obstacle race and a science fair. The students participating will be from grades 6-12. There will be around 8 prizes handed out, 5 of which are to the science fair winners (one group). My SO (35m) and I (28F) have been dating for just over a year now. We live together, we get along great, we are happy and have tons of fun together. We are both full-time students and we both have part-time jobs (so glad we live together or we would likely never see each other). He is going away for just over a month for his studies and we will likely only see each other once while he's gone (due to time and money constraints).So, I'm looking for suggestions for something nice to do for him; we do the daily showing we care stuff (we cook for each other, go out of our ways to help when and where we can, do laundry for each other etc etc) so I'm just looking for a little inspiration to surprise him with something different. He's a very practical man (so he wouldn't appreciate a superfluous, wasteful gift), is wildly intelligent, is always up for a good time and is easily one of the most considerate people I've ever met. And he's hands down the most musical person I've ever known.
