Partner's brother has just gotten married and they live in California, and partners cousins are both married, one expecting a baby at Christmas, the other couple have a baby due March. None of us NEED anything. So we have all agreed to not get each other anything and just enjoy the special gift of getting to be together. I'm sure most or atleast some of you remember the tide pod phenomenon where it was pure comedy gold to eat or pretend to eat a tide pod or some other similar product on the internet. Between that and concerns about small children thinking they were candy they changed all packaging to have child lock. My best friend has been complaining about this for YEARS. My gift Idea is to track down an old pre-lock tide pod container and fill it with sweets or other small gifts.One alternative ive thought of is to try to 3d-print however that option may be a little too pricey for this idea as I dont own a 3d printer and, while there are plenty of 3d printing services, for the container to actually be usable it would need to be fairly large.I have suggested to her in the past to just use any other plastic container and she has declined for whatever reason so I'd like to find an actual tide pod container if possible. I have not had any luck tracking one of these down. My dad buys all the things he wants so is difficult to buy for. He loves unique and funny things... once I got him duct tape colored bandaids and it’s all he talked about for a month. I’m struggling what to get him this year.He recently has enjoyed feeding birds in his backyard but has a pretty good bird feeder/bird bath set up.He also has a funny thing about the squirrels. He has a squirrel chair feeder, feeder out of a tiny coffee mug and squirrel crossing signs.He isn’t a crazy good cook but thinks it’s funny to add a little “flair” like fancy displaying sauces on his plate.
