So I am an avid programmer and I work with a ton of different development environments, electronics, and programming languages. My anniversary AND my girlfriend's birthday are both coming up, and since she is super into arts and crafts, she always gets me personal custom gifts. I want to take what I know how to do and make her some different things that she'd like. She recently sent me a post in which someone made an app in which when the girlfriend pressed a button, it turned on a light in his room letting him know she wanted to talk/wanted attention. I would love to do something of the same caliber but obviously I don't want to reuse a very unique gift idea. Would anyone have any ideas? Even if it's crazy or seems complicated, I'd love to hear it and try it out. Hi!I’m a dad of, kind of obvious. I’m looking to buy a small keepsake piece of jewelry for my daughters first birthday for her. I want to buy something that she may enjoy and wear always. Obviously she is just turning one so she wouldn’t be able to wear it for a while but it would just be nice for her to have gotten it for her first birthday from me. I can’t decide and am looking for some help. We always call her our unicorn because of all the trouble we had having her so something unicorn ish is an option. Hello!My boyfriend is currently deployed overseas, and his birthday is coming up. He was able to bring his Nintendo Switch, and enjoys playing it, so I think a new game would be a great gift. However, I do not know anything about video games and I do not know much about what games he has either. I know he has Super Mario Odyssey and likes that. I guess the only way to be sure to get something he doesn't have is to get something that has come out very recently, or is just about to be released.
