#gifts - #$500 - Lavender theme present for long-distance GF

Hello guys, I am trying to find a gift for my long-distance GF, we have been dating for around 2 years and we are both pretty serious about this relationship. She mentioned once that she would love to have a birthday gift about lavender at one time, but did not specify what exactly she wants. I wanted to bring her to the lavender farm but her birthday is around the end of the year.My budget is around $500, I tried to search for everything online but have not had much luck except for the cheap earrings and essential oil. Right now my plan is to buying jewelry that is purple-ish, similar to the color of lavender, but I have not found any. The other option is to buy a bunch of small things: dried flower, craft bag, candle etc and dress up her room. Really appreciate it if someone can offer me some better options, or jewelry around $500 with the theme lavender. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dfakix/500_lavender_theme_present_for_longdistance_gf/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Is this a good idea for my new gf's birthday?

I've known her for only ~2 months so I didn't want to make it look weird if I spent too much money.I was thinking of getting her a thermos with a design of her favorite anime movie? It's not that much like $25 (kinda pricey for an average quality thermos). I was gonna get that plus a hand written card. Is that okay or should I get something else? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/df8u83/is_this_a_good_idea_for_my_new_gfs_birthday/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Adult childhood Christmas

Hey guys! I need help! My husband is one of those annoying people that buys everything he wants, making shopping for him impossible. I've decided this year I'm going to give him a childhood Christmas. He always looks at toys and robots in stores. He is 40 and still loves that stuff. I need ideas for gifts! Things I've gotten him so far: A drone, those rockets you build in middle school (at least I did here in the US) and launch, a lego kit and a wood burning kit. Thank you for any suggestions! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/df6yo5/adult_childhood_christmas/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift Basket... Assemblers?

Sorry if this is against the rules, I am at a total loss.I want to give my soon-to-be New Mom friend a gift basket and I purchased the stuff I would like to put into it, but I have never made a gift basket myself. Is there a service (thinking maybe in a store, like Michael's or Macys) where I can hand them my items and they create the gift basket with those items? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/df6zw2/gift_basket_assemblers/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #If someone offered you a dishwasher, would you be happy or offended?

So, for context, I got a job last month. I live with my mom and my younger brother, and my dad spends half a month here and half a month abroad because of his job.I was considering offering my mom a dishwasher, because we moved houses recently and don't have one yet, and honestly, she works enough as it is, but I'm afraid she'll take it the wrong way or misinterpret me. Since money gets a little tight sometimes, my parents can't afford one right now. #gifts - #Gift idea for my best friend (25F) Budget: About $25

A few things I could do something with:We both love musicals a lot, her favorite is Anastasia. I was thinking I could buy her a ticket for when we go to see the musical but she's already planning on going multiple times so maybe it'd be a boring idea. She's a huge booknerd but I have no idea what books she has and hasn't read. I could buy her a gift card, but again... It's maybe too easy. Her role model is the girl who plays Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter, and she actually bought a photobooth ticket to meet her at ComicCon.She works at a high school as a help coördinator.Last year I gave her mickymouse ears for a Ravenclaw, which she loved, but I don't have enough time to make something equally as fun as that because this year I actually have lots of schoolwork to do.She bought me for my birthday a RockCafe backpack when we were on holiday and I wasn't looking, and some other STitch related things since Stitch is my favorite Disney character. She loves loves loves loves Disney and I'm pretty sure her favorite princess is Ariel. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/df2y6u/gift_idea_for_my_best_friend_25f_budget_about_25/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Looking for DIY gift ideas for mother's 50th birthday

My mother's birthday is in December, and it's a pretty big date. I definitely don't want to just buy something, and neither do I want to end up with some pretentious arts and crafts project, so I'm having a hard time deciding what to do.I'm somewhat proficient in CAD and 3d modelling software, so I can do things like laser engraving, 3d-printing, graphic design, etc. I also have some experience in actual arts and crafts, but haven't done it in a while. Can anyone suggest ideas for something special that I could make for her? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dexri0/looking_for_diy_gift_ideas_for_mothers_50th/?utm_source=ifttt
