Hi y’all! My dad is gonna be a granddad this year and I thought I’d hype him up by getting him his first grandad father’s day gifts. Does anyone have any cool newborn/grandad combo gift ideas? More activity-focused? Baby is due in October so it’s not like he’ll get to use it anytime soon, but I figure this is a good opportunity to get him more excited. He doesn’t drink, doesn’t like knives or guns, really no stereotypical grandpa stuff. He also probably wouldn’t enjoy funny stuff. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/bzkujy/gift_for_a_soontobegrandpa/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Dreaded Fathers Day gift question.
Would cash be an okay gift for Father's Day?The old man is close to retiring and currently building his dream beach house in Veracruz Mexico. He send his godson (Also the construction foreman) $1500-$2000 per month to pay for material, crew and changes. He has been for about a year and half now and close to being complete by this October. His only hobby is paying bills and living as frugal as possible in order to have $$ to send over there. So I can't think of a better gift than cash so he can either use it for his beach home or to send as extra or whatever he wants. Maybe $0100-$2000?Anybody in here disagree? Would a tie or a "Worlds Best Dad" coffee mug be a suitable alternative? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/bzk3qn/dreaded_fathers_day_gift_question/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Can I get a watch recommendation for my dad?
A while back when I was like 10 I gave my dad a watch I got from a garage sale for 50¢, that never worked but he wore it all the time (I’m 20 now). He recently lost it and has been feeling bad about it. His birthday is coming up and I want to get him a working watch. He doesn’t like very flashy things, but he’s a very cocky man. He works construction so he’ll hardly wear it. Only to parties and outings. Something casual but also kind of says “hey, I got money”. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/bzftxc/can_i_get_a_watch_recommendation_for_my_dad/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #What do you I [M/27] buy my GF [F/27] for her b-day who has everything/can buy anything she wants?
To start off... my girlfriend is not spoiled, rich, or any of that... we both come from normal middle class families and have worked hard to become successful in our careers and can now afford most things we want. She also shops a lot on her days off and has pretty much bought everything she wants or needs for now.Great example of this, I was planning some small items and I remembered she had mentioned wanting one of those new scalp massagers tools for the shower or whatever. a Very simple and small gift, but it recognizes that I knew so I had it loaded up in my cart and planned to buy it later that night. Well as soon as I got home, sure enough she had some packages and when she opened them, one was the EXACT massager I was planning to get - same color and everything...We've been dating for a year and her birthday is coming up in a month. I'm stressing to find a good gift for her in addition to the small items I've already gotten her. I want to get her something she's really been wanting or needs, but there's a few problems to that...She's picky about clothes, shoes, fashion items, perfume, etc... so I've strayed away from these type of items when it comes to gifts. For Christmas, I just had her tell me exactly what she wanted, then I went out and got it and vice versa for myself. Unfortunately, she's being stubborn and not telling me she needs/wants anything. With that said, I'm lost. When my birthday was up in April, she had overheard me talking about these shoes I wanted for a while and she surprised me with getting them (in good time before my actual birthday, because I almost bought them myself). I never get the chance to overhear her talk about things she would buy or wants because, well.... she just shops on her days off while I'm out and about or at work.We have a couple trips coming up towards the end of the year, but we're not sure on the dates yet, so I don't want to jump on anything like that just yet.... would anyone be able to help out a hopeless romantic with his gift giving issues??Thanks in advance!!TL:DR - Girlfriends b-day is coming up, not sure what to get her. She has pretty much everything she wants/needs and can/will buy items on her own because she has free time, money, and likes to shop online (dangerous combo, I know lol). Trying to get her something big in addition to smaller items I've already bought. Need ideas!! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/bzc94v/what_do_you_i_m27_buy_my_gf_f27_for_her_bday_who/?utm_source=ifttt
