She’s off to college in another state, and I want to send her something as a kind of dorm-warming gift.I know I should’ve given her a gift before she left but I’m a dumb stupid idiot and didn’t think of it until today. We’re both really into photography, so I was thinking I could get her something related to that? She does collect old cameras, but that’s pretty spendy I assume. I don’t have much past that tho, I’m not very creative, sorry. I guess just any kind of housewarming-for-a-dorm gift works. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i6yurg/my_friend_just_moved_to_another_state/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #GIFT FOR 28M PARTNER OF 2 YEARS
Need help thinking of a good gift for my bf.It's not for a special occasion or calendar event, just as a treat and to show some appreciation.Budget - we're a pretty thrifty couple and like making things so anything flashy or overly boujee probably wouldn't suit, and he wouldn't be offended by anything that's inexpensive. That said, I don't mind spending a few hundred for the right thing ($AUD) - he is definitely into quality over mass produced items.About himHe's a bit of an old soul with very conventionally masculine interests and qualities but is very socially progressive and can also be kind of eccentric.interests include surfing, mountain biking, road biking, camping, DIY and home improvement (he has a huge shed full of tools and equipment), gardening, vinyl, reading (old classics and sci-fi/horror), music (plays bass and guitar), casual fitness (not a gym guy but has an interest in fitness and health), memes, travelling, cooking, nature, I'm kind of getting him into astrology and yoga.White collar profession, currently WFH. Has an ok set up but would be open to small desktop extras.Bonus points for something ethically sourced / eco-friendly or that gives back / is purpose-led etc.Things I'm considering and need recommendations for:Grooming (a good shaver for face and also full head shaves as he does this occassionally, has super thick hair)"extras" for bikingA mechanical keyboard with the more quiet key caps"extras" for car - owns a nice 4WD/SUVExercise shoes (doesn't own any)Workwear / accessoriesCologneGadgetsAn experience/subscription (non-physical item)Something related to birdwatching/foraging (not binoculars)An adjustable guitar strapSomething homemade/DIY - I can already sew/cook/paint and make little figurines from clay (I would probably buy something in addition to this but any ideas welcome).Something art related perhaps a print but nothing bigger in case we moveI would probably rule out the following:AlcoholBooks (already buy him this)JewellerySkincare (already buy him this)Socks/underwearToolsAnything big as we might be moving soon (either interstate or overseas)Trying to avoid anything that's a shared or household item (we live together so I don't want to be selfish with my gift giving lol)Thanks so much!!! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i6vxu6/gift_for_28m_partner_of_2_years/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Flowers?
I'm new to Reddit, so sorry if this is the wrong place for this question. On mobileDo guys appreciate getting flowers from their SO? I know in my parents relationship my mom LOVES when my dad gets her flowers. Do guys like getting flowers randomly or a different gift? One of my love languages is gift giving and I want to know what a guy would like as a random gift. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i6v1ex/flowers/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Need Ideas for an original gift
We’ve been together for more than a year and I wanted to surprise her with something special (not for any special date nor reason). We met abroad and traveled through Europe (Italy, Germany, Austria, Prague) and we’ve been dating ever since.I’ve written her poems, made her videos, paintings and some other gifts. She really like Harry Potter, How to Train your dragon, and is really into Reading. For her birthday, I made her a Harry Potter inspired cake along with some other stuff. But ever since the pandemic started, we haven’t seen each other in about 5 months. Since then, I’ve sent her flowers and other stuff but nothing really out of the ordinary. So I wanted to do something special and personal. So I need some ideas... via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i6tzdt/need_ideas_for_an_original_gift/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Virtual Experience gift?
Hi all,My mom’s birthday is coming up and since we live 3,000 miles apart and she’s sheltering in place due to Covid-19, I thought a virtual experience might be a fun gift for her. I was gifted a virtual tiki cocktail making class (where they sent you all the ingredients and then you followed along via a Twitch stream), but it looks like they no longer offer that class. Any suggestions for online “experiences” that might be fun? Thanks! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i6n4q0/virtual_experience_gift/?utm_source=ifttt
