I recently finished my master's degree and my commencement ceremony is coming up in the middle of December. My grandfather has been my single biggest cheerleader my whole life. i don't have a relationship with my father and he's very much been a father figure in my life, and supported me through each step in my life, educational and otherwise; I told him I would be having a hard time buying my cap and gown so close to Christmas and he picked up the cost, no questions asked. I very much kept pushing myself through everything to make him proud.I want to get him a sentimental gift to thank him for always supporting his granddaughter through everything, even though I wasn't always the most fun ;) Any suggestions are welcome. Hi! I posted this question in r/askmen yesterday but unfortunately it was not allowed and the mods recommended to post here. Any ideas will be gratefully received!My partner is a really tricky one to buy for. His birthday is just two days after Christmas, so I need to start coming up with some ideas now!He is a self confessed geek- loves history, gadgets, tech, WWE and Star Wars and Disney too. Also loves anything silly/fun!Last year I put some serious thought in, he is fascinated with JFK. I managed to get a collection of original newspapers from his election and a tie pin given out during his campaign. (They are still sat in a box gathering dust)For his birthday I got him a remote operated BB8 that cost me £200 and he still hasn’t got around to putting batteries in it.I would like something this year that he will actually use!!! Please Help!He works away and travels an awful lot, so far I thought I would get him a projector for his smartphone so he could watch movies off his phone? Has anyone got any recommendations or experiences with these?Someone on my post yesterday (before it was disallowed) recommended the ear pods which I have added to my list! :DOther than that I’m stuck! I'm a gymnastics coach and i'm looking to buy a gift for each of my girls. I'm a 40 year old male and clueless what to buy girls at that age.
