#gifts - #Gift suggestion for friend who love Japan, animes, K-pop, ...

So my friends and I are doing a gift swap and the guy I picked loves Japan, he really want to go there one day. He's also a fan of mangas, K-pop and animes. He's 20 yo and we have a budget of 20$ CAD for our gifts!Currently I have a Japanese flag in my amazon cart, soemthing he could hang above his bed for example. If I buy it, it leaves me 12-13$ CAD for something else, but I can also put the 20$ toward another idea. Thanks to everyone in advance! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9zb9xl/gift_suggestion_for_friend_who_love_japan_animes/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift suggestions for 40s MIL

I need gift suggestions for my boyfriend’s mom for Christmas. She’s in her late 40s. She doesn’t really have any hobbies. She likes watching Netflix, reading crappy books, and most of all getting her nails done. She also likes cooking. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 years and spent 4 Christmases with him. The first year I didn’t get her anything, the second I made a big food basket for the family. I don’t think it was super appreciated. The third year I got her a gift certificate to get her nails done. That went over really well. Now I’m stumped on how to top that one. Budget is <$100, the cheaper the better. I’m already planning on getting her a snack she really likes and framing a pic of me and my bf. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9zaj18/gift_suggestions_for_40s_mil/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #The girlfriend who has everything (20yr F)

Clothes make up jewelry is mostly a no-no she has it all. She loves elephants, she's 100% Italian and is really into the culture, her family owns racehorses. She goes to Holy Cross (MA), family is very important to her. Been dating 2 years and change. She has some physical injury problems but plans to get into boxing and working out again when she can. She has played field hockey her whole life including college. I got her a necklace a couple months ago for our anniversary. Any help is appreciated! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9z9tat/the_girlfriend_who_has_everything_20yr_f/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gifts for family in Thousand Oaks- fire/shooting trauma

Looking for any meaningful or sentimental gifts I can give my family in TO. With the holidays coming up and all of the terrible trauma they've been surrounded by I really want to find something associated with these things but not like the #thousandoaksstrong type merch. Something that will make them smile or feel empowered- specifically for my sister and mother in law who have really felt this past few weeks.IE:http://www.alchemymarin.com/fire-victim-relief/ https://www.shopcobracult.com/shop-cobracult/?category=NewI found a couple merchants making things and donating the money towards relief funds and thats what I'm more inclined to buy but it's obviously really hard to search for these things. #gifts - #Christmas gift ideas for my (20m) boyfriend (19m)

Hi!So usually I'm pretty good at gift ideas but I really want to make this one special for my boyfriend as this is our first Christmas together. We've dated for 8 months and I love him a lot. He's very into photography, fashion, and we do lots of outdoor activities like hiking since we live near the mountains. I'm planning on getting him two things: one is a book of Vogue covers with Rihanna on the front because he pointed that out once, from Amazon, and I wanted to get him something else that is more intimate and thoughtful but I'm not sure what. His birthday was a few months ago and I got him a pandora charm for his bracelet so I can't really do that again.I was thinking of some kind of travel journal or something like that? He wants to travel and next year we have a few trips planned out. And since he loves photography I was thinking of integrating that somehow.Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance :) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9z6vfx/christmas_gift_ideas_for_my_20m_boyfriend_19m/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gifts for the dad who doesn't do much.

My dad is kinda hard to read, especially when it comes to gifts. He doesn't drink scotch or play golf and the most advanced technology he owns is his cell phone. He isn't a handyman or a mechanic or anything much really. He's a restaurant owner that works all day and his idea of unwinding is watching whatever's on TV and maybe drinking a beer. Only sport he really enjoys is soccer.I know this seems like i'm offloading the ideas to y'all but i'm well and truly stumped. He'd give me the shirt off his back if I asked for it and I really want to get him something this year. I have a budget of about $150-$200. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9z1f5t/gifts_for_the_dad_who_doesnt_do_much/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift for MIL who doesn't like gifts

I live on a goat farm with my partners family (we have seperate houses but are very close and eat together most nights - I get on very well with everyone in his family). My MIL has been extremely helpful to me, mainly helping us with our house renovation, literally coming in and concreteing the walls off of her own back on her first day of holiday, that kind of real generosity. She has also helped me get a job and is just generally so kind to me. I want to get her something in return.I ofc do what I can to help her - I cook and clean quite a lot, take the goats for walks sometimes, just generally try to be of use. But I'm no goat farmer and in fact she's not so keen on people helping her and she's got it down to a T and she likes her rhythm. Although the goat walking is always an option...She is basically always very busy, she has a lot of energy so even when she's not dealing with the goats which take up most of her time she is off doing walks, going to the gym or to see friends.-She doesn't like goats, she hangs out with them all day and is a bit sick of them after 20 years so anything goat related isn't an option-She doesn't really believe in birthdays or festivals, they don't celebrate Christmas or anything like that, she is quite anti-religious and won't even tell me when her birthday is. She buys her son and daughter gifts but doesn't want anything in return-I thought about doing personalized 'coupons' i.e. 10 coupons whenever she likes for me to go and walk the goats or clean the kitchen, but she's such a sweet person I think she'd have trouble actually using them-She likes good food, walks, practical things (she's very handy and DIY focused), animals (we also have cats dogs horses donkeys and chickens), nature, science, interesting anecdotes, interesting YouTube videos although she rarely has the time/patience to sit down and watch a whole movie-She already has most of the stuff she wants/needs i.e. tools, a microscope, which were some of my initial thoughts-She's not a big reader, she's very much a hands on sort of person-She doesn't drink or eat much sweet things, she's very healthyWHAT do I get such a woman?!Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!! Thankyou :)(Oh, and I haven't forgotten my FIL, he's easy though he loves good beer!) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9z1koh/gift_for_mil_who_doesnt_like_gifts/?utm_source=ifttt
