Hi guys, so my boyfriends father passed a few months ago and I want to get my boyfriend something special in remembrance of his father as part of his bday gift. However, since we hadn't been dating too soon before his father passed, I never got a chance to meet him so it's been a little difficult trying to decide on something appropriate as I don't want to cross any boundaries since I didn't personally know my boyfriends father, just what he's told me about him. Also don't want to get something too over the top since we are still a pretty new couple, but still lets him know that I care about him and I'm here, something that will be special to him. When his father passed he left his old school car to my boyfriend who just finished working on the car so I was thinking maybe something special for the car that his father left him would be okay, just not sure what, so if you guys could help me out with some ideas or have any suggestions, even if it's not related to the car, I'd really appreciate it! I'm sorry if this isn't allowed, hopefully I can get a little advice.So I've got a cousin currently living over in the UK and we stay in touch by playing games and stuff. His birthday is coming up in February and I wanted to get him something off his amazon wishlist but there's a problem. When I try to view his list it only lets me view it on amazon.co.uk and not on my US account. I figured no problem I can still order him something but nope. I put my info in and it tells me that I must revise/update my payment method. No matter what I do, my bank declines the purchase, even when I verify that it is me making the purchase.Are there any alternatives here? Maybe a prepaid debit card but I was also considering seeing if its possible to get a UK card while in the US. I'm lost here and any help would be greatly appreciated.
