#gifts - #Need gift ideas for my boyfriend (19M)

Hi there! I'm seeking help from r/Gifts because frankly, I'm a bit awful at gift-giving. My heart's in the right place but I never know how to shop for people and/or what they would legitimately enjoy as a gift. Sure, there are joke gifts, but I want to give someone something that they will use and genuinely enjoy. Long story short, I need gift ideas for my boyfriend. He's a bit peculiar in that he has very specific tastes: car mod stuff, tech stuff, useful stuff, and video games. Being the perfectionist that I am, I want to give him something special that he will genuinely enjoy. He's told me before that if the gift isn't something that he particularly asked for he would feel bad for the gift giver, and I definitely don't want that to happen here. I'm looking for useful gifts that would please about anyone, preferably ones that show thought. Advice? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/e85soe/need_gift_ideas_for_my_boyfriend_19m/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #What to get a 6 month year old that will benefit the parents?

I am a first time aunt and don’t have kids. What can I get my niece that will actually be helpful to the parents, she was born in June so she’s just a baby still so gifts to her are silly for me, I’d like to give something useful! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/e85vui/what_to_get_a_6_month_year_old_that_will_benefit/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift for boss

What is your opinion on giving a boss/manager a card with a photo in it? I'm leaving the company soon so it will be a farewell/Christmas gift. For example, a selfie or photo of us? Would that be weird or would bosses usually like that kind of stuff? Would they be happy with a photo and put it on their desk, or would that be strange to have a selfie of their old employee on their desk? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/e83fye/gift_for_boss/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Ideas for "road trip bundle" gift for my retired parents

My parents (mid-60s) both retired this year, and are giving me the whole "Oh, you don't have to get us anything" deal when asking what they want for Christmas, so I had the idea to make a bundle of gifts for traveling and road trips. We took a lot of family road trips when I was younger, but neither of them have traveled much recently. However, I'm stuck on what exactly I would include. Some ideas I've had so far:-Gift card for hotels.com or something similar-Gas gift card, though I'm not sure which chain to buy for, since that'll depend on where they're going-Random "road trip" gear, like travel pillows, phone chargers, and the like-Some kind of specialty "gourmet" snack mixes-A guide book to tourist sites around the USBeyond that, I'm not sure what else to get. They would probably be most interested in visiting more natural locales, rather than big cities, if that helps generate some ideas. I had considered a National Parks pass, but that might feel more like a burden than a gift, given that they don't live close to any of the parks. I also want to get gifts that will give them the most possibilities, and won't trap them into having to go to one particular place or region.Any ideas would be very appreciated! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/e7zq82/ideas_for_road_trip_bundle_gift_for_my_retired/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Any advice or suggestions for shipping to Finland without having to fork over an arm or leg for customs

Located in the U.S and trying to send a few gifts to Finland for Christmas. Was blissfully ignorant of the steep cost of customs. Any pointers for dealing with this? #gifts - #Gift for brother (and his wife) that I don't really know anymore?

For the past few years I've gotten one of my brothers and his wife the most generic gifts. For example, last year it was a plain hoodie and a scarf, but I want to try to get them something relevant to their interests from now on. Problem is that I only know what my brother liked last time we really had a conversation (about 3 years ago) and his wife has never shown any interest in anything, but I figure they probably have *something* in common. So, things my brother used to like:Game of ThronesDeadpool (comics in particular, but probably the movies too)The MCUThe Walking Dead, books and the showNot really an *interest*, but he's in the militaryWe used to have a lot in common, so thinking of maybe getting him some of the things I'm currently interested in, maybe the first issues of a few different comics he might enjoy or something like that. Good idea, bad idea, absolutely terrible idea? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/e7ydxw/gift_for_brother_and_his_wife_that_i_dont_really/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Personalized book to Dad from 2 year old daughter..

I am looking for a personalized book to give to my husband either for Christmas or after. I don't really want it to be Christmas related. I love the style used on the Lovebook site, but there were no children sized characters. I also looked at Hoorayheros.com and none of the father options looked anything like my husband. If anyone has any suggestions I would be so thankful! If I can't figure it out, I may just try and make one. Just figured I would give Reddit a try.Or if any one knows of an app or a site that I could maybe just create bitmoji type characters that would possibly help me create it myself and print.TIA 🌺 via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/e7xf1g/personalized_book_to_dad_from_2_year_old_daughter/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Christmas gift

Hi all, so I'm coming for your advice. I'm looking for some good Christmas present for my boyfriend. Somehow he found out about my original gift idea, so I'm kinda in hurry (because of the delivery time). He loves games, mainly Witcher this year, so I was thinking maybe some collector piece or something, I'm not really oriented in these things. He also loves music, mostly rap, I was thinking of Igor on vinyl, but he doesn't have the gramophone (only I do). I can't buy concert tickets because in our area there are not so many. He also likes reading, but he's a "part time" reader. He's 22 btw. Thank you for your advice. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/e7rnpz/christmas_gift/?utm_source=ifttt
