My brother is into drawing and is quite good at it. He wants art supplies for his birthday, and I thought since his sketchbook is almost filled up, it would be nice to get him a new one. I was thinking it might be a cool idea to use his art as a cover for it. I'm looking for a sketchbook that has nice paper quality, and could especiay handle ink, since he likes drawing comics the most.I'd like to know where I could get something like this. What kind of places should I be looking for? Are there websites that I could order from? My bfs Mum doesn't really like gifts as she's a relatively simple person and likes to have what she needs and not necessarily what she wants. I really like her way of thinking tbh.I still get her gifts anyway but I've come to realise they're often not used or wasted. Last year I got her a river cruise for Christmas (shared present with bfs Dad) but they haven't used it yet and now there's corona.I've previously got her jewellery items but I know she never wears them. She likes cooking, running, and has her own sense of fashion but I feel I shouldn't get her clothes and she might not like it.Feel free to ask more questions below but I'm stuck!! I love gift shopping and I always wish I could afford to buy more. I was in Superdrug yesterday and I found these little beauty gift sets for 49p each so I bought 7 for little additional Christmas gifts (4 different kinds) as I always give multiple gifts and I'm guessing (it didn't say what they originally cost) they would have cost me a minimum of £3 each (probably more) full price saving me about £16/£17 and I've just ordered £70 worth of stuff for £15.10 (4 Christmas gifts, one birthday gift, 2 baubles and something for me). I've also bought 2 purses (£2.40 and £3 instead of £8 and £10 ) and a toy for £2.50 that was supposed to be £5+ I've even picked up 3 books (£1 each) in really good condition from a charity shop as well as a DVD for 50p, a photo frame for 99p and a candle holder for £1.49 I'm really hoping that this is all okay because I'd never have been able to get this much at full price in shops and still be able to get more (friends usually get £15-£20 and parents up to £50) so I'm actually really excited to see what I can get doing it this way and by starting this early I might be able to budget more if I can't find anything in sales or charity shops too :P via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/hus4kg/is_it_okay_to_buy_gifts_in_the_sale_and_in/?utm_source=ifttt
