He just graduated from college. He's 23, into the health goth aesthetic, the card game Magic, music, Kanye West, and fashion. I asked him what men like to recieve and he said " You can never have too many Calvin Klein underwear, socks (especially thick wool for winter), and cologne." He seemed super into the socks idea and while it's fall here and will be cold when he visits me, it's not cold in his country. Help please! #gifts - #Anyone know a way to get a few Amazon orders to arrive in the same box for an international Secret Santa? (not the Reddit one)
My international friends and I are doing a little Secret Santa between us, and I’ve picked out some things to send my giftee on Amazon. The trouble is, I want these things to arrive as a single package, and I’m not sure of a way to do that. There are three different items, all from different retailers. Don’t want to be too specific, some people in the group know my Reddit username. Is there a service that will allow me to get them all sent in the same package? Is there a middleman service I can ship to who will then send it to my giftee? Anyone know?Only solution I can think of is to send it to myself, do it here, then send it back out. But I’m in Australia, so shipping might end up a bit expensive, and I might miss the Christmas deadline.PS: I know about Amazon’s fulfillment centres. Apparently my order doesn’t match the criteria. Unsure why, it matches all the criteria they list, but, Amazon won’t let me do it. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a2lwro/anyone_know_a_way_to_get_a_few_amazon_orders_to/?utm_source=ifttt

Been seeing this girl for 4 months, want to get her something relatively nice at this point. She's really into pottery, gardening, she likes jigsaw puzzles, cooking and chocolate. #gifts - #Men fashion wear, where can I shop online for a turtleneck?
I'm doing a secret santa and a guy was drawn for me. He added to his wishlist that he would like a turtleneck, specifically. I'm a lady and I don't know where I can shop online for a turtleneck lol, the budget is 30 Cad. I feel like it's a little low considering men clothes can be expensive. I looked on the h&m website and I find it pricey for the budget. I can go a little over but the issue is that I feel like the turtleneck is too simple. He's a pretty fashionable guy, and wears dressy clothes even on his "casual" days. If anyone can help me figure out where I can find a trendy turtleneck, I'd be super thankful! I'm also open to other suggestions on what a 26M would like. It doesn't have to be necessarily a turtleneck :) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a2inu6/men_fashion_wear_where_can_i_shop_online_for_a/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #gift ideas for my dad!
i’m really bad at gifts. i am also fifteen and broke with no way of making considerable money so even when i do think of good gifts, i can’t get them.my dad is SO difficult to buy for. the only thing i can think of is fancy beer, cos he loves it, but i obviously can’t buy thathe’s fifty and a doctor (kind of irrelevant but i mean maybe someone knows of a good gift for doctors), he likes the outdoors (we go camping all the time) and cycling and hiking but he doesn’t really play sporthis favourite book is lord of the flies (childhood nostalgia i think, idk) but aside from that he only really reads non-fiction books - he has this massive encyclopaedia set of like fifty books that he’s working his way through so maybe something along those lines? he mentioned a book he wanted a couple of days ago but it’s £30 and if i bought it i couldn’t buy presents for everyone else. he watches films instead, his favourites are westerns and golden oldies, i think his favourite director is hitchcock and his favourite movie is the good the bad and the ugly.he likes classical music and ballet, particularly the nutcracker and andre rieu, when i’m older i’m going to buy him tickets to go see a live show but again i am fifteen and broke. he already has the cds and stuff thoughok wow that’s a mountain of text and it’s probably not that informative but i’m really stuck for ideas! preferably things under like £12, i know that’s really cheap but i genuinely couldn’t afford anything more. thank you so much via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a2ihhs/gift_ideas_for_my_dad/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift idea for a friend that just got in a relationship?
I have a friend that just got in a relationship this week and his birthday is in 2 weeks. We give each other shitty/funny gifts every year, so this year I had the idea to give him some a funny gift regarding him getting in a relationship, like a book with a title about relationships being shitty or something (Like the old marriage is the worst decision you'll make joke) or something very unhelpful for in a relationship, or whatever you'll think is funny to give. Yeah this may all sound annoyingly 'bro' and stuff but I'm literally so happy for him, it's just that this is the kind of stuff we gift each other each year. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a2hb7t/gift_idea_for_a_friend_that_just_got_in_a/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Need advice on what kind of tool to purchase husband, help!
Normally I would never buy something as personal as a tool for someone, but my husband heavily hinted that he wants a a tool for christmas and I am completely lost (I'm the kind of person who pre-marriage would bring my car to the shop to get the oil changed, and who never even owned a hammer). My husband does 100% of the work on our cars now, and he also loves wood working. The problem is we live in a very small apartment with a small yard and limited driveway space. To do "big jobs" he goes to his parent's house for the weekend, but it's becoming increasingly impractical to do that. We are "allowed" to do small projects in our yard, but we don't have a garage or anything for setting up serious table tools. I'm looking for a reasonably compact convenience tool that will increase what he has the ability to do in and around our own home.Today, under the guise of looking for duct tape, I actually went through his full tool box to see what he has already. He has a hand planar and what I believe is a rotary tool for cutting/sanding. He has a soldering iron. He has an electric drill and many drill bits. He has a lot of saws but no power saws that I could find. He has an extensive socket set and all the basic hand tools (wrenches, torque wrenches, screw drivers, hammers etc.). For car work he has jackstands, a jack, an air compressor, a fancy battery for jumping car batteries, and a "topsider" for changing oil. Here are the kind of jobs he seems to do a lot, that I would like to make easier for him if at all possible:General car maintanence like patching holes in tires, replacing hoses and lines, basic electrical work.He can build very beautiful and ornate furniture with decorative elements, most recently a very beautiful craftsman style bookshelf for me! He also has made some very beautiful wooden decorative items like a jewlery box for me, wonderful wooden reindeer ornament for my parents, etc. This has slowed way down since we got married because he no longer wants to spend an entire weekend at his parent's house using his dad's shop. This makes me really sad because he has an extreme talent. His day job is very technical and I want him to have a creative outlet he can do reasonably on evenings without having to pack everything and drive a long distance. He can do a lot of small electronics repair as well, though it does seem like he has most of the tools necessary for that in our small home already. He also knows how to do major car work like replacing transmissions, full engine rebuilds, welding, etc. but I don't anticipate he will be doing those kinds of jobs in our front yard any time soon! When I look at lists that offer advice for tool buying, I see a lot of suggested tools that don't seem practical in our current setting, like routers and planars and all kinds of table saws. I'm interested in any and all advice! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a2hekz/need_advice_on_what_kind_of_tool_to_purchase/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Need to spend another $3 - 8. Ideas??
For a bit of background: It's for my family's Yankee swap, we have a $30 budget (can go little under or over if needed). It's just for the adults, but I think there could be bonus points if those with kids can make use of the gift with their kids as well. My family is my parents (both in their mid-60's), my two siblings and their partners (all 4 in their 40's), and me and my husband (I'm late 20's and he's early 30's).I've bought a game called Castles of Burgundy Dice Game for my main present but want to make a "gift basket" of sorts because there are a few people who may not want a board game (mainly, my dad). My siblings and their partners (even my mom) would play this easy to play and travel with game and they can enjoy it with their kids which is great and will be good because they are all going on big trips next year so could be useful for the airport. The reason I wanted to make it a gift set is so that I could buy some other items that fit the theme (being "influential sovereigns" looking to "expand your estate" in the Burgundy region of France in the Medieval period) so that those less inclined to play the game would still have something to enjoy. The game itself was around $12. I got a dice tray that looks like castle stones/pavement slabs for just under $4 (some of them those in the grab also play D&D so thought it could be useful to them outside this game) and I got some burgundy wine soap for just under $5 (just seemed like a fun idea).I've have spend about $21 and a bit total thus far and need to spend the rest of the budget (so around $3-8). Obviously I could go with a bottle of actual wine and some cheese/crackers to accompany (and might look to get a mini bottle), but was hoping for some ideas of other items that would match this theme and be fun/funny/useful/etc. to non-gamers. It can be silly/stupid stuff, I'm not fussed...just looking for ideas to get my creative juices flowing. Thanks in advance! (got loads of other themed game gift set ideas I can share if anybody is looking for game-related gift sets they want to buy to get somebody into gaming, this just seemed the easiest to execute with my family). via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a2ew3h/need_to_spend_another_3_8_ideas/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Is this a good gift idea for boyfriend's birthday?
Hello folks.BF and I have been together for a little more than 1 year. Very much in love, committed, all the good stuff. Now, he is a hardcore anime fan, and his favorites in descending order of preference are: Boku No Hero Academia, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Death Note and a lot more. Now, I never was into anime pre-BF, got into it for him and now I genuinely am a fan (esp. Death Note!).His birthday is fast approaching. I want to gift him Naruto's headband. I've already purchased it and it's pretty awesome and quality AF. I also plan to make him a "Life Note"; buy a hardbound notebook, cover it with white felt, and scrawl "Life Note" on the cover and make up a bunch of positive rules in place of the original rule page (He is this extremely positive person, like SUPER positive). Now, is this a good gift idea? I am a bit concerned if it seems kinda useless, non-practical. It also seems like overkill, on the other hand. Opinions?tl;dr: Naruto headband and personalized "Death Note"; good gifts for anime-loving boyfriend's birthday? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a2dvsn/is_this_a_good_gift_idea_for_boyfriends_birthday/?utm_source=ifttt
