Need help drafting thank you letter! Please help a girl out!Hi! I (20 F) just came back from a two week vacation exploring Costa Rica with my boyfriend of 3 years and his mom and step dad.My boyfriend and I are perfect together and completely click. His mom and step dad, on the other hand, I have a tougher time relating to. They’re just so different than my parents. They are very nice people, just more reserved and boho. They intimidate me to no end. I’m always trying to make a good impression with them but always feel like I fall short.With this in mind, I HAVE to give them a thank you gift, especially since they paid for almost all my expenses. Luckily, I’m pretty talented artistically so I decided to sew them a nice bag with fabric that I dyed using a shibori technique and patched together myself. I turned out really nice. I also painted a picture of a volcano we spent some time at in Costa Rica to include with the bag. To top it off, I’m adding a nice bottle of wine I know they like.Now comes the hardest part of the whole gift - THE CARD!! How do I begin? I want to sound sincere but not too mushy and sappy. It was my first time out of the country and first big vacation. I really want them to know how much I appreciated everything.I would really, really appreciate help!
