It's my niece's first birthday next month and I obviously want to spoil her. The thing is, her parents aren't the most budget-savvy people and often spend their money on unnecessary things - usually toys and gifts for the baby! So I want to avoid giving my niece toys for her birthday but would like to focus on giving them something that helps them out without it being obvious. I don't want to give them cash or even a gift card because I know they won't spend it on essentials. I would love something that she needs rather than something she wants but I don't know anything about one-year-olds! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/fmpdl5/a_gift_for_a_girls_first_birthday_to_help_her/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift for my MIL who is alone.
Apologies if this is against the rules, I'm new to r/Gifts.Does anyone have an idea of a gift that I can send my mother in law? She lives alone and is social distancing. She told me that she really misses human contact like hugging. :( I'd like to send her something comforting to let her know that we are thinking of her. I thought of a giant teddy bear? Or something warm you can hug? Extra points if I can support an etsy vendor or small business! Thank you! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/fmg41n/gift_for_my_mil_who_is_alone/?utm_source=ifttt
