Firstly I know I'm a complete knobI forgot my dad's birthday, it was two weeks ago.A few years ago he tried to kill himself and he's never been all there since. I struggle to talk to him but he knows I love him.I can't spend much time with him as I live quite far away and am stuck at work all the time. I also can't spend much time with him as it takes weeks to get back to normal again after seeing him.I have no idea what he'd want: his hobbies just include betting on horse racing, gambling in general (both things he isn't allowed to do anymore) and eating garbage (another thing he's banned from as he's a bit overweight).I was thinking vouchers for clothes or for dinner or some sort of experience?
