#gifts - #Ideas for an artsy sister in college?

My little sister is a sophomore in college. She likes unique things that not many people have and she's very artistic/into art such as painting. Any ideas? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7avssl/ideas_for_an_artsy_sister_in_college/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Need help finding a pre-made mini wine and chocolate pairing box

I was once gifted a wine and chocolate pairing box and loved it! But have never been able to find one since. I have found gift baskets with full wine bottles and other elaborate sets. But this was just a cute, friendly gift. The small box had about 3-4 of those mini wine bottles of different flavors, then had a small chocolate bar of different flavors to accompany each wine. It also included a little info sheet about the pairings.I couldn't imagine that the whole thing was more than $35-40.Anyone here know where I can pick these up? Thank you in advance. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7aut21/need_help_finding_a_premade_mini_wine_and/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Christmas gift for step-dad?

My step-dad is extremely hard to buy for. He doesn't drink, has all the tools he could ever need, and doesn't want anything to do with candy since he's on a diet. He's obsessed with Marvel and Funko Pops, but he has so much of that stuff that there's an entire section of our basement dedicated to a giant pile of his stuff. Anytime we ask him what he wants, he just tells us to not get him anything. He doesn't have time to go out for experiences since one of my step brothers is autistic and needs constant supervision (not easy to find a sitter since he is 17 but functions at the level of a 1.5-year-old according to his school. I also can't afford to pay for a specialty sitter for him, since I only work part-time on min. wage while going to college). On top of that, he's going to college online while working full time. So, I've run out of reasonable ideas for gifts that he would actually enjoy/use that I can afford. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7at3y5/christmas_gift_for_stepdad/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #20 y.o. male friend being discharged after kidney transplant

My friend is being discharged from the hospital after a kidney transplant. He is a 20 year old college student in Philadelphia.I am looking to get him a good present. He can't really have visitors now so I want something to get him to show him I'm thinking of him. Ideally something he'd keep (e.g. not flowers, balloons, or food).I'm open to all ideas however if you have a good suggestion that isn't something I'm thinking of. Currently I am leaning towards a blanket from our university or our fraternity.Anyone have any experience? Would be easiest if it was something cool on Amazon so I could easily ship it to his house. Maybe in the $20-$50 price range? But not firm on that. Not really sure what present to buy for a 20 y.o. guy that isn't alcohol related (obviously). via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7asa1i/20_yo_male_friend_being_discharged_after_kidney/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Need gift ideas for husband

My husband typically buys himself stuff he really wants during the year, which leaves me with nothing left to get him for Christmas and his birthday...so I’m starting a little early and compiling a list of potential gifts. He likes sports (particularly football, hockey, and golf), building things, and podcasts. He doesn’t really care about technology or having the latest gadget. We don’t camp, he doesn’t have a beard, and he doesn’t drink much other than beer or water. He’s not much of a video game player, although he is sentimental and enjoyed the nostalgia of the Nintendo Classic last year. Oh, and; we’re on a budget (think: no more than $150 per gift).Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!Edited to add; he’s in the car pretty much all day, so maybe things to make that easier? (This also means he hates road trips since he basically does it for a living.) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7aqzd3/need_gift_ideas_for_husband/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #I need ideas for a gift exchange where the theme is "Something you didn't know existed".

Hello, so basically, we're doing a gift exchange in my family now, and there is a theme. Upper limit is 20$, personally I already got my idea; I went for a food crate, but my sister is struggling to find a good idea, she's been at it for weeks now and she can't seem to find anything that is unique and practical, and I am also falling short. I got a few funny ideas but it's not pratical.Any help on that? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7aqpem/i_need_ideas_for_a_gift_exchange_where_the_theme/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Now or Later??

Hey y'all!! I recently thought of the perfect present to get my boyfriend (whose birthday is mid Nov). He loves darts, and I found an awesome new dartboard with a mahogany backboard set. I was SO excited to get it for him since he moves into his new place in January, but am now thinking that it may be better as a Christmas present as January isn't for a little while...I haven't been able to think of any other gifts that would be as good 😭. Should I get it for him now even though he won't be able to use it for 2 months?? Or should I wait til Christmas?? Or even get it for his birthday along with a small gift he can use now? I don't know what to do!!Please help me! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7aqc0a/now_or_later/?utm_source=ifttt
