We haven't ever really connected with each other. My brother really clashed with him pretty aggressively at first, but has now accepted him. I haven't so much, and it's mostly because he smokes. He has tried to quit, promises my mom he will daily or weekly or whatever. I am trying to give him something that means something. He always wants golf balls or golf gear, but I really want to show him I'm willing to accept him, and at the same time show him there's nothing I'd rather do than support him quitting cigarettes. I'm going to talk to my brother too. Thanks in advance. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dwlq3o/a_gift_for_my_stepfather/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Something for my nieces 1st birthday
I need help coming up with a gift that she can keep for years and look back on. I love this little girl more than life itself and unfortunately i dont see her often, but i want her to have something thats going to remind her how much she means to me everyday she looks at it. I was thinking maybe a keepsake jewelry type item, but Im not sure because i want it to be something she'll enjoy through every point in her life. Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dwldi1/something_for_my_nieces_1st_birthday/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Christmas Gift for my Dad
Hi there [referral link],I hope you’re all doing well. Here’s what’s up with me:I’m trying to get airpods for my dad for Christmas. I recently lost my job, so money is tight, but he’s an avid runner and really wants a pair for his next marathon. I’m not asking for handouts or money, just 5 seconds of your time. If you sign up for the app Oyo and type in my referral code: HANN57QY2M, they’ll send me a $5 Amazon gift card. You can immediately delete the app and never think about it ever again or keep it and get $5 for everyone that uses your code too! Just hoping that if you have 5 seconds, you might want to spend it helping me out a little bit. I’ll DEFINITELY be paying this forward the very second I get a job!THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. Really. Thank you. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dwjtp8/christmas_gift_for_my_dad/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Dyeing yarn for socks?
My friends birthday is coming up and she kinda told me that she'd like knitted socks but I'm totally confused what color to use.So I was thinking about getting sock yarn that is not dyed yet and basically gifting her the yarn so we can dye it together and I'll make the socks out of it later?Does that sound like something you would like or should I reconsider? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dwecf4/dyeing_yarn_for_socks/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #My half-brother
I live in the United States with my grandparents. My step mom and half brother + sister live a state above me, so I don’t see them very often. My half brothers birthday is today, he’s 12.Now I’m not too sure of what to get. I know he likes bowling (I’m quite the bowler myself) so when I go up to see them next month I’m hoping to take him bowling. But I really want to give him something too, not just do something/an activity with him. I know he likes gaming, as most guys his age do. So maybe I’ll get a game?I might end up getting him a game, but some other ideas would be cool too. Thanks in advance y’all via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dwd24b/my_halfbrother/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #A gift for a coworker who's interested in Tibetian culture and Mt. Everest?
My company is doing a secret santa, but they didn't give a list of interests along with the name.I don't know much about this coworker, but I know he likes mountains, tibetian culture, and wants to move out there one day.I found some beautiful mugs with the famous John Muir "the mountains are calling" quote, but I wanted something to accompany it. I know he not a coffee or hot cocoa guy. I think he likes tea but I'm not sure which kind. I want to something beyond a travel guide because they go out of date so quickly. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dwd3h7/a_gift_for_a_coworker_whos_interested_in_tibetian/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Christmas Gift for Boyfriend idea??? Help
So obviously Christmas is coming up and I’m trying to figure out what I want to give my boyfriend of six months. This will be our first Christmas together and coincidentally it will also be our eight month anniversary that day. Of course I have basic little things that I know he’ll like but I want to give him something a little more meaningful that I put effort into to show my love for him. My idea is to make him a Dallas Cowboys Tie Blanket (example in comments) Here are my reasons: 1. We both love the Dallas Cowboys and we bond so much over it, it’s even what our first conversation was about when we first met. 2. He loves being warm and cozy and is always piling blankets on him. 3. It’s something that I’m going to put time and effort in to make and something I hope will remind him of my love every time he uses it.My question is, is it weird to give your boyfriend a blanket for Christmas? Do guys like stuff like that? Any and all answers are greatly appreciated and would really help me make my decision! #gifts - #Teacher gifts
Hey all!I’m headed to Lithuania with 6 other girls to teach English with them! I will be the head teacher and want to bring small gifts for each of them for when we first get there! They have to be small enough to where they won’t take up too much space in my luggage and ideally I want them to be something they can’t find in Lithuania, something that will remind them of home (USA)! Any ideas? Thanks!! :) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dwbil0/teacher_gifts/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Gift ideas for a custodian?
There's this custodian who works at the college I go to. I always get to my first morning class really early so I always see her in there - this fairly young hispanic woman vacuuming, rearranging the desks, etc. and she always does such a thorough job. Always smiling, always so happy and cheerful. She also doesn't speak a lick of English but is always so kind to me. I would love to get her something just to show some appreciation. I know custodians typically don't get much appreciation. But her thoroughness and cheerfulness are incredible and I want to do something nice for her. I just have no idea what she might like and/or need. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dw99u6/gift_ideas_for_a_custodian/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Family and friends have reached the age where they don't want more stuff. Need Christmas gift suggestions.
My family and friends (and myself) have reached the point where we don't come out and say it but we don't want more stuff that usually ends up as stuff to dust. For the past several years my family has been giving out gift cards. I want to do something more personable and meaningful but I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?Friends are a little easier since we love Lush products but I want to include something else. I'm drawing complete blanks this year.Christmas is hard on my family for a variety of reasons. It's become awkward more than anything.Any ideas? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dw70fc/family_and_friends_have_reached_the_age_where/?utm_source=ifttt
