I bought her a laptop for her birthday and want to customize the package like add a birthday card or something before I mail it out to her. I'm oblivious when it comes to this stuff but I want it to be more than just a laptop. Hey team! thanks in advance for the help.​My girlfriend and I have been living together for about six months, in a relationship coming up two years, next month. A little about her, she is a huge history buff, especially mid century. Really, she is a lover of interesting stories. Watches a lot of period shows like Mad Men, The Crown, Picasso, etc, just to give an idea of the breadth of her history interests. I'd like to go with something a bit more exciting than books or movies/shows, but I'm open to all suggestions.She is also a big fan of art deco, that style of decoration and architecture from great gatsby movie, or most of miami, florida. So this might be a little weird, but some of my family lives far away and they’re asking what I want for my 19th birthday. They’re not sending money, but the only things I really want are overly expensive (think $200 pair of Doc Martens) and I don’t want to ask for anything over like $100 at most (I more want to stay in the $20-$50 range though). I can’t really think of anything else, but if I don’t think of anything else they’ll just send something I don’t need or want anyway.I’m into art, but I do it all digitally now. I play guitar, uke, and bass. I’m really into music. I want some new tattoos and piercings, but they live far away so we can’t go do that. I’m not really very active, so no sporty stuff. I’m in college.
