His birthday plans are no more thanks to social distancing. He's been having a rough couple of months with family stuff and mental health. I want to show him that he is my everything. He deserves the world but I am not able to give that to him, though I try often. We both share a love for anime, Naruto in particular, video games, writing, and nature. He really loves dark majestic things, caves and forest biomes, and unique light pieces. I don't have a lot of money with quarantine. I have enough to invest in something reasonable and nice for him. He never had any privacy or things growing up that were his own so he has curated his perfect space in his bedroom. I always try to add unique pieces to it. I got him some ninja tools and a MTG t-shirt. A couple of other small things but I need to do something special. I bought us music fest tix but it was canceled, obviously. Hi all. I am looking for gift ideas for my mom for her 60th b-day that is two weeks away. Here's the issue: she lives 200 miles away and is self-quarantining while I am 8 months pregnant and doing the same.I hadn't planned on actually seeing her for her birthday because I'll be so far along and planned to take her into the local city sometime in the Fall to do a mother-daughter-maybe granddaughter day together. But I still want to acknowledge her actual birthday.Any ideas on something I could order and/or ship to her house? Are flowers maybe overdone? All of the local flower shops in her town are closed as nonessential so I'd have to rely on one of the big chains and am not in love with that idea.My husband also won't really let me out, and I don't blame him, but it limits my ability to even go to the grocery store to find something for her.
