My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and he's a big fan of soccer/football. He already has a football, so I wanted to gift him with a soccer ball! I looked through numerous websites and I can't decide on which ball is considered a "good" one... so any tips? My price range is $30-40. Linking me to some soccer balls would be helpful! #gifts - #A present I made for my cat loving friend
She gave my girlfriend and me some great advice when we were having trouble. I thanked her with a shirt in a homemade box.http://imgur.com/hTvLxvFhttp://imgur.com/QnUXiZf via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9fou93/a_present_i_made_for_my_cat_loving_friend/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #My boyfriend isn’t so great at gift giving
My boyfriend and I have been together for a long time and every holiday, anniversary or birthday I always inevitably get heart shaped jewelry. It’s not anything horrible and it’s not the end of the world I know but it’s never something I’ve ever mentioned liking to him. It’s not just me either, I notice he buys his mother heart shaped jewelry for Mother’s Day as well. I love him so much and I’m grateful for the sentiment but I feel like I have enough heart shaped jewelry and just once I’d like to be surprised or find out that he actually pays attention to what I like. I’ve tried everything, mentioning things I like, showing him things I like, showing him things while saying “you know I’d really like that!” Hoping that one of them will eventually stick but every time a date comes around it’s a heart shaped necklace or ring or bracelet.I don’t have the heart to tell him something so mean like “stop buying me that” or that I don’t really like it. I don’t know what else to do. It also doesn’t make me feel very special since it seems to be his go-to gift to any woman. I know he definitely doesn’t do it to hurt feelings or because he’s trying to ignore what I say. I think he just gets nervous with gift giving and forgets what I’ve said so he just goes back to the same thing he buys any lady because it’s always worked before. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9fowcx/my_boyfriend_isnt_so_great_at_gift_giving/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Can I buy a Barnes and Noble gift card that I can print and put in a card?

#gifts - #Looking for gift ideas for housebound mother
My mom is becoming increasingly difficult to shop for and I’m finding myself at a loss on what to get her for her birthday/holidays.A little background, she has late stage COPD and only leaves the house (actually her bedroom) for doctors appointments. She doesn’t really have any hobbies and the ones she did have, she can no longer do (eyesight is too poor for reading and her hands shake too much for crochet). She isn’t a “feminine” woman and doesn’t want jewelry, bath/beauty products. Really, she sits in her room and plays computer games on Facebook all day.In the past, I have gifted her a 6 month subscription for audiobooks (she never used it), cozy blankets, pj’s, confections, flowers and “knick knacks”. I’m getting to the point where I’m just giving her “whatever” because I’m just at a loss. She also isn’t the kind of mother that is just satisfied with a card. Her feelings are hurt easily and thinks gifts = appreciation and love. I’ve come to dread the holidays because shopping has just become so stressful.Any help/suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
