#gifts - #Does anyone have suggestions for the ultimate outdoorsman gift?
To start off, my father can be perfectly described as a mountain man. He is a regular hunter, angler and camper. Not only that, he tends to make all of his own equipment and tools. From fishing lures, knives and axes to animal calls and Gilly suits. He dabbles in food preserves, wine making and gardening. He has all the fun toys a man could ask for such as his ATV, boat, and sled. He builds everything by hand and does his own home renovations. He is honestly the hardest working person I know and his lifestyle and hobbies back this up. His 50th birthday is coming up and I want to do something very special for him. He has been my biggest teacher in my life and he deserves something amazing. But I guess my question is: what gift do I give a man who has everything and does it all? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i3nm3t/does_anyone_have_suggestions_for_the_ultimate/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #My friend says I should ask my parents for a better graduation gift... (30,000) is not enough
Mmmmmm... I hope I don’t sound entitled honestly I have been blessed with a great family and I have had my struggles in life (undiagnosed bipolar till the age of 22... suicide and self harm) but my family is really amazing... anyways so even though I was having a hard time I was accepted into one of the top universities in my country and I got a scholarship (the tuition for the five years cost around 275,000) so my older brother was accepted in the same university but dropped out after two years going to another university with less qualifications and a high tuition when he graduated my parents gave him a graduation gift (30,000) and a year later i graduated but I was supposed to graduate a semester early so I took a minor planning to graduate with my friends (my university accepts 3,000 students only 700 or so graduate each year the rest either dropped out, expelled for low grades or are graduating late) I’m just saying that to make it clear that my university is really tough... anyways when I graduated I got the same amount as my brother and I don’t mind it but my friend insists that it’s not fair because first even though I was struggling with mental illness I got a gpa that would allow me to get my master’s degree from this elite university not to mention a minor and graduating on time and the second reason is that I got a scholarship saving a lot of money... is what she is saying make sense? Or is my friend is being absurd? Also I took a year off to focus on my mental health and spend time with my aunt and grandfather (she passed away two months before I went back to school for masters and he passed a week before classes started)... my friend suggested that I ask for a bigger gift when I graduated next year... personally I am planning to ask for money to study again (another masters degree) even though I know they will be paying for it either way (my mom made it clear that as long as I wanted to study and improve myself I will be getting the support both mentally and monetary, my father is also on board)... my friend says that I should ask for a gift because they will be paying the tuition for the other masters degree after I am done with this one anyways... what do you guys think?PS: I got a scholarship for my masters degree... via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i3lzud/my_friend_says_i_should_ask_my_parents_for_a/?utm_source=ifttt
#gifts - #Ideal birthday in?
Hi all, I'm planning my boyfriend's 28th birthday and want some input!I've decided I'm making him butter aged steak, mashed potatoes, and some kind of veggies for dinner, and a peanut butter cup cheesecake for dessert (his favorite dessert and candy in one!).As for an actual gift Im putting together a boudoir photo album of myself to give him after dinner. My question is, what would you love for your birthday? I want to do more for him but between COVID and the fact that he could literally buy whatever he wants, whenever he wants, I dont know what else I could do for him to make his birthday a big deal that he should look forward to. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i3kr52/ideal_birthday_in/?utm_source=ifttt

Hi everyone! I currently live in Atlantic Canada, and I want to send my friend who lives in Germany a gift box. Any ideas of what I could include? Perhaps some types of candy or chocolate you can't buy there, or any other little gifts! Thanks in advance. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i369g0/gift_ideas_from_canada_to_a_friend_in_germany/?utm_source=ifttt
