Some backstory might help. I’m gonna marry this woman. I’m 20 and we’ve only been together for close to a year but I’ve known her my whole life. She’s the most beautiful girl in my eyes and we make an amazing team. A lot of people might say what I said and not go the distance. But I’ll do everything in my power and more to grow old with my gf, she knows I feel this way about her and she has told me she feels the same. I’m very happy with her and gift time is a big deal Bc I suck at gifts. I also had a question that’s been on my mind about a specific gift, promise rings... idk how I feel about them. Part of me laughs at them and the other part sees how it’s a cute gift and shows dedication. I don’t think I’ll be getting her one just thought I’d ask. I would totally get her a necklace with my initial on it but ofc she Alr wears one with her own initial lol. My most recent gift was a going away to college gift, got her a really nice pair of Nike jester Air Force ones and then had someone custom them for the college she goes to. (We are both jrs in college btw if this helps). I came here Bc there hits a point where you’ve gotten them the key gifts and the rest feel like filler. My good friend got his gf of 3 years a projector... I don’t want to be that guy, I like sentimental stuff. Maybe a matching hoodie with her would be cute, I’m not crazy about that stuff but it would be fun on occasion. Hey there everyone!My younger sister’s 17th birthday is this Friday. I’ve always been bad with gifts, but with her it’s especially hard because she’s a little strange interest wise, so it’s difficult to gauge if she will like what I get her or not. BUT! I do have an inkling of an idea for where to start. She just recently passed her learners permit exam and is super excited to start learning to drive. Now, as a 19 year old community college student, I definitely cannot buy her a car, lol. However, I was hoping to get her something that would be in relation to the interests of a new driver. Birthday gift for one my close friends. I was thinking of doing a hamster style with lots of little things. So far I’ve got her a make up bag, and a book I think she’s like. She’s vegan so maybe some vegan snacks, but I did get her a vegan snack subscription box last year. If anyone is vegan and has good snack suggestions or general gift ideas based around being vegan let me know.She’s recently starting to do more art so maybe more art supplies? I’m not entirely sure what kind of painting she does. Or something crafty.I was also thinking of getting something small and personalised for her from Etsy.Urgh completely lost this year.
