So my boyfriend (15) is literally the sweetest thing ever and I want to get him stuff for Christmas. I just applied for a job (Bagger/Stocker at Kroger), and I know that isn't a lot of money. Maybe $8 an hour, and I'll be working after school/Sunday (3:30-9 on weekdays and anytime on Sunday). I'd like to create a specific book for my wife for Christmas as a very nice hardcover. What I actually have to start with is a pdf of the original pages (no copyright issues) which is effectively just pictures/images. When I look online for sites to create books, they all seem to assume I have a formatted document style manuscript I want to turn into a book to sell. However, what I really want is something that isn't just reprinted words, but the actual images. When I look at photobooks they are glossy and not that sophisticated. Any ideas on how to do this?
