#gifts - #Gift suggestion for my girlfriend

She loves to sing and has a beautiful voice. I have some things in mind like concert for her favourite artist etc. But was looking for some suggestions of good gifts that you might've seen or given to a loved one that they really liked :).Cheers via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9v5jfr/gift_suggestion_for_my_girlfriend/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #What are some nice gifts for someone who is nearly blind and hard of hearing?

My grandfather's health has been deteriorating these past few years and I'm struggling with what I might be able to gift him this coming holiday season. He has an affinity for classic cars, used to play the guitar (still does on occasion - can also play the saw which is not relevant but is super cool), and was somewhat of a woodsman. Many of the things he enjoys he is unable to fully enjoy now, and any gifts related to these things that I think of (whether they be handmade or store bought) I quickly realize are related to sight and sound. I know there are options, I'm just not sure what they are or where to look.He does have things to aid him, such as headphones for the television, and I don't feel there's much I could provide in that aspect that he doesn't already have or that hasn't been considered by my family. Of course, I'm definitely open to ideas. All suggestions are welcomed and greatly appreciated - thank you! :) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9v5jke/what_are_some_nice_gifts_for_someone_who_is/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gifts for FIL’s new home?

Hi! My FIL (who is a single man in his mid fifties) has recently moved houses and has invited my and my boyfriend over for this weekend.I want to bring a gift for his new home, but quite honestly, I’m at a loss of what to buy.I’m a rather poor student so my budget would be around $20-$25. Normally I’d buy nice flowers or something for their home (such as candles or a vase) but I feel like that’s all a bit too feminine for a fifty something guy that’s been divorced 3 times. My boyfriend mentioned he wants to do something with his garden but I feel like a gift card for a garden center would be lame and I don’t want to just buy a plant and hope he likes it.He’s very tech savvy but already owns things like Apple home, Sonos, etc so I don’t really want to add to that since he knows way more about that stuff than I do.Any advice is welcome! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9v3x3y/gifts_for_fils_new_home/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Gift for my girlfriend who loves music and creative works

I was thinking about writing a song about us and search for a musician to perform and record it, but I'm worried that I'm a bad lyricist. I definitely want to gift her something selfmade or creative. She doesn't like material gifts. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9v24l0/gift_for_my_girlfriend_who_loves_music_and/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Surprise 1st class seats on honeymoon

So my fiance and I can't get time off to go on a honeymoon until 3 months after our wedding, so I decided to save up and put aside my annual bonus to surprise him with 1st class tickets to our honeymoon destination to make it feel a little more honeymoon-like and not just a random trip since it's so long after our wedding. Well, now I have the 1st class tickets, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to surprise him. I'm pretty sure I could at least get us to the airport without him knowing since I handle all our trip logistics/online check-ins. I've never flown 1st class before, so I don't really know how the airport part of it works, although I do know there's no 1st class lounge or anything in our departure city. Should I try to surprise him at the airline gate and hope we get all the way there without him looking at the ticket closely? Or should I try to surprise him another way? Any ideas? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9v29wj/surprise_1st_class_seats_on_honeymoon/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Need to think of a special gift for a special friend

Me and my best friend have had a weird year. We have argued a lot about stupid BS and at times I have definitely been on the wrong. It makes me feel guilty that she has still stood by me and even spent money to buy me a plane ticket for me to come and visit her which was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I love her so much. The plane ticket cost 100's and she hasn't accepted my offer for me to give her the money for it.I really want to surprise her with a special gift but I can't think of anything. She is 28 years old and spends a lot of time working/studying. She is laid back and likes to drink beer/chill in her spare time.I don't know what else to say about her that would be relevant, but can anyone help me think of a gift that she would love? I am willing to spend up to 600 US dollars. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9v1pp8/need_to_think_of_a_special_gift_for_a_special/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Surprise Trip Gift

My bf and I love traveling (especially together), so I thought for his birthday I would surprise him with plane tickets to a place we've both been wanting to travel to. Because it's a surprise, I have a few questions about planning that have popped up in my head and wanted to share them in case anyone had any suggestions:What is the best way to pick out dates for the trip, bearing in mind something that fits both of our schedules and that he would need to request days off? He has plenty of vacation days at his work - and I have an idea of what time of year is least busy (and therefore ideal for a trip) I'm hoping to book enough in advance that first of all, I could give him the tickets on his bday and that he would not have anything booked at the time of the trip.If I'm already buying the plane tickets, should I also book accomodations and any activities we might do? I like having things prepared and by the time he receives the gift I'm nervous there will be less availability/options, but at the same time I have a pretty limited budget, and I want us to both take part in the trip planning so it will be more teamwork and we can do things we both want to do. Or would it be really cool to give a trip that is all expenses paid?Because of the surprise factor, should I buy any trip insurance such as sick days, etc...in case something goes awry with my plan?Any ideas for how to present this gift to him?? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9v1kxn/surprise_trip_gift/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Amazing Anniversary Gift!

Was running out of gift ideas for my 3rd wedding anniversary, when i stumbled upon this Etsy shop that saved me! The artist recreates wedding bouquets as gorgeous paintings, creating a memory of something often forgotten about after the ceremony (or at least i did lol). I just placed an order and sent in a photo of my wife's bouquet, so I'm excited to see how it turns out!Thought i'd share for anyone else struggling to find a unique & romantic anniversary gift! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9v0lfn/amazing_anniversary_gift/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #I am officially out of gift ideas for my boyfriend

My boyfriend and I have been together for like 4 years and I feel like I have exhausted every idea I could possibly come up with. I've done all of the cheesy arts and crafts shit, he buys everything that he wants for himself before anyone else can, and he's not into cool little tech gadgets or other interesting gifts that could be a quick buy. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can handle this? Or do any men on here have any pointers on how to shop for a man who has everything? It's only November and I'm ready to cancel Christmas. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/9usm7j/i_am_officially_out_of_gift_ideas_for_my_boyfriend/?utm_source=ifttt
