#gifts - #Leaving my job - should I get a gift for my supervisor?

I'm leaving my current job of 2 years for a position at a different company. My job is in a corporate office setting in a large city.On my last day, I plan to give handwritten Thank You cards to my supervisor as well as a few of my other colleagues. But do you think I should get a small gift for my supervisor as well, or will the Thank You card suffice? If a small gift seems appropriate, can you provide me with a few ideas? I don't want to spend too much money, but I don't want to get something generic/impersonal, either. For the record, I'm not especially close with my supervisor outside of the office, but I do want to let him know that I appreciate the fact that he hired me 2 years ago. Plus, I'd like to make a great final impression in case he's ever asked to provide me with a referral to future employers. Thanks in advance. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/b6pg5k/leaving_my_job_should_i_get_a_gift_for_my/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #Need a gift for a retiring teacher

I need a gift for my daughters special ed director who is retiring. He has performed miracle with her education. I don’t want to get him anything teacher related. He does play poker in tournaments. I don’t know if he drinks or what he does for fun. I do want to get him something personalized or sentimental. Last year I got him gift cards for him so his wife and he could go to dinner and a movie. Budget: $200 US via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/b6kkaf/need_a_gift_for_a_retiring_teacher/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #What's a good gift for a 17M??? URGENT

Hello. So, this is a fcking emergency.I know this guy for a very long period of time but I am generally clueless when it comes to gifts. He spends most of his time playing video games with his friends on Steam (I don't know which ones), he studies German, he swims three times a week and he doesn't really like reading. I thought about giving him something eatable stuff but he tries to lose the extra weight, so that's a no-no.I thought about giving some money for his Steam account, but the maximum I can afford is 15$, which isn't much at all for gaming.Do you have any suggestions??(In my country 15$ is quite a big amount of money) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/b6i36m/whats_a_good_gift_for_a_17m_urgent/?utm_source=ifttt
