My wife and I don't do gifts for anniversaries. We never really have. We'd rather spend the money doing something fun together.For our 5th anniversary we went to the Bahamas for a few days. This year we were planning to go on a long weekend trip together and leave our kids with my parents, but we realized that won't be possible for a few reasons. So we decided "what the hell, let's do gifts for once".The problem is I'm having trouble thinking of something to get her. I've considered jewelry and she'd probably like that, but it feels sort of "default". My budget's around $2500. She enjoys photography, but I don't really know what sorts of things she needs or wants. Hi all,So one of my close friends is getting married next month and apart from the gift we're giving the couple, I want to give her something personal as well.She loves good stationery so I could get her a really nice journal or filofax. She also loves Disney, music (notably John Mayer and Sara Bareilles), Pride and Prejudice, sketches and kinda cartoony artwork, just for some context.I've given her stuff like posters and paintings in the past for birthdays and all, but seeing as it's her wedding, I want it to be a little more special, but somehow my brain can't come up with anything good.
