Hello! Thought I'd try this subreddit, but Im new here so bear with me please.My stepdad and I have never been very close, but as my father left us when I was little, he's been around for alot of my childhood. We never had much of an emotional bond, but he has been taking care of us financially, even as adults he has been helping me in buying my first house, and taking care of lots of practical things.He is a landlord, buys old properties and turn them into apartments and rents them out.He buys anything he'd want, and I have no clue what to get for him that would be kind of "special". He likes anything gold, he owns a gold Nokia, and last year we gave him a gold edition swiss army knife that I think he liked. Not sure how to top that. Budget is $150-ish.
