#gifts - #TV Show-themed Late Mother's day gift

So I'm the worst and I haven't gotten my mom a mother's day gift yet (Mother's day was the weekend before finals). My mom and I like to watch TV shows together (Pretty Little Liars, Glee, Hart of Dixie, Friday Night Lights, Jane the Virgin), and I wanted to get her something that represents all the TV shows we've watched together. My initial idea was to get buttons for each show that she can put on her work bag, but I'm having trouble finding buttons online. Any suggestions? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/8lum71/tv_showthemed_late_mothers_day_gift/?utm_source=ifttt

#gifts - #I'm an American college student [20/f] studying abroad in Beijing for the summer. What gifts should I bring for my host family and teachers?

So I will be studying abroad in Beijing for 2 months over the summer. I know that I will have a host family and multiple teachers. I was advised to bring multiple small gifts for them from the US. I don't know what gifts to bring or how many I should prepare for. There will probably be less than 10 teachers and I'm guessing my host family will be anywhere from 3-5 people. It was advised that I either bring gifts that are very American or important to my hometown. I'm from a small town in rural New York, there isn't anything it is extremely well known for. What gift ideas do you have? I was thinking shirts and accessories from the Old Navy Americana collection that they release every summer for the 4th of July and two floral print scarves. Ideas? I have around 8 gifts chosen so far, should I prepare more just in case? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/8lqw1f/im_an_american_college_student_20f_studying/?utm_source=ifttt
