Extended family is planning a trip this summer to the beach for a week. Was thinking of either putting together individual welcome gifts or doing it by family.I wanted to do individual but my mom mentioned it might be too costly(debating on trying my hand at couponing for it to cut costs) and the more I think of it it will be. There about 40 of us so individual would be $400 or so.Suggestions for what to put in it? I thought about nail string art, pottery and etc. none which really satisfied me. I am so incredibly proud of all the hard work my boyfriend has put into his thesis over the last year and I want to give him something that says "congratulations, you did it and it was amazing". He is completing his strategic studies (defense and military strategies in an international setting) and has a particular interest in Russia, NATO and deterrence.
