I [16M] am currently a sophomore in high school, but a couple of my friends are seniors and for their graduation I want to get them each a small gift along with a card. For two of them, it is really obvious to me what to get, but there are another two (J and O) for whom I have only an inkling of an idea. I think my budget would be no more than $20 each.J is a senior who is really into computer science, dungeons and dragons, and bad memes. He also has a crazy sense of humor. I used to be very close to him and he helped me with a lot. This year unfortunately we have grow apart, since I didn't need as much support and he got a girlfriend who he spends most of his time with. But I still want to recognize how important he was to me and how much he helped me and how much I look up to him and wish him well as he moves into the next stage of his life. I was thinking maybe a pen or mug or something he could use in his dorm during college.O on the other hand is like a brother to me and he knows that, but I just want him to have something physical from me while he is away at college. I could call O at 3am and he would pick up. He has been through a lot this past year as well and we have been able to support each other because we come from similar (unhealthy) home environments. He is interested in rap music, clothing design/fashion (especially hats?), bass guitar, and wants to become a therapist. We have a couple of running inside jokes, but I don't know if getting him something related to those would be weird. Also they don't translate well into physical objects.Any suggestions would be super appreciate!
