I had no idea what to get them and so I bought two different sets of gifts for the 7 of them putting a massive dent in my bank accountOne is: Each person getting a 10$ pokemon plushie based on their favorite pokemon/ what reminds me of them. My boyfriend approved of the plushies and said theyd love it. originally I was going to add something more to this but I kind of ran out of time because of some other stuff in my life. And because I had no time to shop in stores I went onto amazon prime and I bought gifts AGAINAmazon prime: Everyone gets nice quality looking gifts (30$~) like a game of thrones mug, a nintendo lamp, a harry potter wallet, a massage pillow... Except I realized after doing this that I asked them for stuff like hair accessories and stickers... I think they'd feel guilty or not good about my gifts if I overspent.I'M SUCH A DUMB ASS AHHHH Clearly I have put A LOT of thought into this I don't want to make them feel guilty and overgive, at this point I've spent like 300$ on their two sets of gifts. The 2nd set is now impossible to cancel. because they arrive like tomorrowCan anyone help? is this too much? Any gift ideas that might help add onto the pokemon plushie set without feeling too cheap? I think the sweet spot is 20$ per gift for them but I underspent THEN I overspent. I can possibly return all of the amazon stuff to get my money back. Hi all, sorry for any typos, im typing this from my phone.Christmas is here and I really want to give my bf (28m) a trip as one of the gifts. I'd either go on a trip to Europe to watch his favorite soccer team with him for 5 days and do some tourism around there, or go to an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean.I truly want to make this about him and make him happy. I know he'd be happy with either, but I wanted to take him to see his fav soccer team because that's more of a dream of his.The problem is that his family is very close to him, and him and I live 2.5h away from them. His parents and brother are super symbiotic with him, they want to do everything together and spend as much time together as possible. Its suffocating at times... i love them tho! Theyre very sweet to me. Anyway, knowing we love go to on trips, his parents have expressed the desire to go on a vacation with us (i told you, any waking moment they can spend with my bf, they'll take) to go on a cruise or something sunny like that, but no actual plans have been made. Next month we're going to SC and they expressed a sad face when we announced it saying "aww we wanted to go to a warm place with you guys..." basically saying that we planned this without asking them about it. Scoff....Then, here's the real issue. His brother (24) also loves the team. Bf and his brother been to this country in Europe before, but to visit city A, not where the soccer team is based on, lets call it city B. My bf has told me that they have this dream of going back to city A (nothing mentioning city B). Brother doesnt have a gf, so going on a trip the 3 of us would be him thirdwheeling. Or me, as the brother is high maintenance and gets moody if things dont go his way.Anyway. With all this background, I want to get my bf the trip to Europe, but im imagining all these scenarios of drama that the family can create bc Id be taking bf to see europe without even consulting the brother and asking him to come. I honestly dont want him to come.
