My mom is your average Colorado mom. She likes Gardening, hiking, traveling, plants, and just in general being active. She doesn’t cook, watch movies, read, do anything artsy or like pampering/clothes. The only jewelry she owns is from when she travels and buys from the locals in third world countries. We are the complete opposite and I always have a hard time finding her presents. She also doesn’t like if I spend too much money, so anything over $40 is a no go. I usually give her some kind of “experience” gift where we go and do something and I pay for it, however we can’t do that right now in quarantine. Does anyone have any suggestions? A little about me and my family - my wife and I live in wisconsin and have 2 young, lovely, daughters. We also currently have 4 dogs. We had 5, but unfortunately lost our first pup a few months back (I say first, because he was the first my wife and I rescued after we started dating). It was a devastating moment, as I am sure many many people know that something like that can be. Now, a little about this post and the reasons for it. My wife, Alissa (sounds like Alyssa - just with an 'i'), is pretty far on the introvert spectrum. She is a dog lover and not really a human lover - which I am sure many of you can relate to - as we have neighbors who are that way. She does not have many human friends, as me, our daughters, and our dogs are her family and friends!! To this effect, she doesn't really like gatherings (parties) with other people (or a lot). Since we are in quarantine, I wanted to do something special for her birthday, and she would NOT like a drive-by of people... Even then, we would not have a lot of cars in that line. haha​So, I wanted to create a video of dogs (any dog), saying 'Happy Birthday Alissa!' (with the voice of their owner). To be a grand gesture, as I know she deserves it with all she does for me and our children and dogs, I wanted to compile a video of dogs from around the world/country/wherever, saying 'Happy Birthday Alissa!!'.
