Hi everyone!I was hoping to get some ideas for gift ideas for my Dad, for Christmas. Unfortunately I’m really bad at thinking of ideas for gifts and I’m never really sure what to get anyone. I’ve recently made the first step into my career and I’m finally earning enough money to be able to spend a decent amount on Christmas presents. I really want to show my Dad that I appreciate him and everything he does for my family and I. But like I said I’m not sure what to buy. He always tells us to think outside the box, but if anything that just confuses me even more.So, my Dad is amazing. I know a lot of people say that about their parents but honestly my Dad is genuinely amazing. He always goes out of his way to make sure that me and my family want for nothing. Whether it’s buying us the things we want or helping us fix things or take us places. There’s nothing that’s out of scope and he’ll always do his best to make us happy.He’s very big on DIY; he built our entire house basically from scratch by himself with help from a few others in more specific areas like electrics. But pretty much everything he did himself. He’s usually out either working in his garage on one of our cars if it needs repairs, fixing something that’s broken and needs repairing or fabricating something that one of us needs. He’s a mechanic by trade, which is why he’s able to do so much for our cars. He also has a motorcycle which he rides whenever he can when the weather isn’t terrible. He used to be an avid golf player, but in the last few years he hasn’t played as much. But he always drives my brother to his golf competitions so that he can watch. And when I used to play rugby he came to all my matches to watch me play.Also I’d just like to mention that some of the more obvious gift ideas probably won’t work because I imagine he’ll own a lot of things already. For example any motorcycle gear, DIY tools, bits and pieces for cars etc.I’d really appreciate any and all ideas that you can throw at me for gift ideas. I really want to make my Dad’s Christmas this year and I’m really not sure where to start!
